The first time I came to Effra is something I?ll never forget, from the lovely staff to great atmosphere, what a treat. Being served by Eashan especially was my highlight of the year. He creates drinks with such dexterity and charm. I will definitely be back!

Lively place with drink deals on quieter weekdays. Been here several times. The DJs aren?t that good, went recently on Saturday night and the DJ looked incredibly bored and that came out in her music. Bar staff are efficient, and clear tables regularly. Mid range selection on tap. Best area is the front garden.

Cute pub that kind of has it all - outdoors seating, downstairs that turns into a dances vibe on weekends, pints, food, history, and deals, making it a nice spot for a visit at any time of day. It?s quite cool inside too, where you can see bits of its history

We?ve been regulars at this place since April. Visiting almost every week, often two times. I?ve ordered the same cocktails many times and always loved them, especially the Old Fashioned and Picante. But this time, the quality was really disappointing.
The Old Fashioned came without the orange or rim, and the Picante (made with El Jimador Blanco, lime, and red chili) was missing its signature chili on the glass. I had to return it and switch to a Passionfruit Martini, which also wasn?t as good as usual.
It seems like there?s been a change in bartenders, and sadly, the cocktails are no longer what they used to be. I even brought friends here because I loved the drinks, but this visit left us disappointed.
I really hope things go back to the high standard we were used to. I?ll update my review depending on how things improve in the future.

My friends and I went to the pub quiz on Tuesday at Effa Social for the first time and it was the most lively (and challenging) pub quiz we?ve done in London! Expect fun musical interludes, lots of laughs and the friendliest community. Big shout out to Alfie Evers who is a stellar host and cultivates an incredible atmosphere.

Excellent venue for everything you need; booked Studio 180 for my birthday and everything was well catered for with very helpful staff. Otherwise they do excellent foodz host top-tier comedy nights, and have Jubel on tap! What's not to like?
