rude staff. i had a few tops in hand i was going to purchase and then a worker came up to me and said i was not allowed to be in the shop looking at clothes because i had a drink in my hand (an unopened monster can) literally ridiculous. i left the stuff there was going to buy and left, not worthy of my time & money

If you have donations, DO NOT take it there. Triad in Brixton is more friendly and accepting. These guys actually complain about donations - I had 8 bags full of clothes.
They rejected the bags instantly - one lady even asked me if ?they were clothes?? Naaah, it?s just grass and soil. Then another lady came out the back saying NO NO NO. No explanation. My business actually gives a lot locally so we thought we?ll try something new. I repeat - IF YOU HAVE DONATIONS, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE IT THERE.
They are all frustrated with the amount of donations they receive - yet it?s a charity shop. Makes sense.
Don?t expect a thank you either after you?ve donated either. That?s not going to happen.

Decent selection of stock but I have been in twice with donations - having called ahead to check they would accept them - only to be told they *wouldn't take them once I'd made my way down there with heavy bags. On other occasions I have donated with no word of thanks, as other reviewers have mentioned.

Absolutely love this store! Items are handled with care and very lovely staff! I was served by Natalja and she was very friendly with amazing customer service. Highly recommend to visit !

They are thieves. My bracelet fell off in the store and someone on staff took it up. I asked them to show me camera footage so I could see if someone took it and walked away. The manager told me that I should let it go cause if I loose something valuable I shouldn't expect to get it back.

5 stars because the prices are really reasonable. Got a lovely Oliver Bonas dress for only £8. They have bric a brac as well which I always like in a charity shop. Definitely worth a visit.

61 year old woman carried a really heavy bag of stuff here to donate and was gruffly told 'not taking donations right now' without any kind of sympathy or suggestions for alternative place to donate.

This is a very big shop by charity shop standards, huge, with lots of racks of clothes that are not overpriced. DVDs are 50p each unless it's a boxset, in which case they charge 50p per disc according to the man behind the till. The girl stacking the bookshelves seemed unaware of the need to regard health and safety as she left a huge crate in the middle of the area where customers move around the books.

Helpful staff always. Some good quality stuff in there. Not always top of the range. They shouldn't sell secondhand toys though. Expecially not with ongoing Covid-19 epidemic/pandemic issues.
