Don't bother getting the breakfast if you're vegetarian as there were no veggie sausages offered. Also the rest of the cooked food I could eat didn't taste nice. The hotel needs some TLC as it's looking tired in places, but not entirely terrible.Food & drinks: No vegetarian breakfast options

This hotel is in a very convenient location for visiting Kew Gardens, there are some good pubs nearby and good transport links. In summer it is a little uncomfortable as there is no air con, but in the cooler months it is comfortable and clean.

The hotel location is easily reached by bus. A few steps from the bus stop outside the hotel there are quite a steep steps heading to the reception area. But those with big suitcases could go around the side where there is wheelchair access. We were welcomed by friendly staff at the reception. The room was clean - as per usual Travelodge standard. I was a happy customer. Thank you.Nearby activities: Musical museum within walking distance. Bus 65 will take you to Kew Garden.

No rooms keys available so had to be escorted through every door including lift and stairs. Very limited security meant we had to leave our valuables in the car. Temporary situation - but the resolution was poor at best.Safety: No room key - anyone could have requested access to the room at the desk as we had to every time we returned. No offer of compensation for the issue.

Unfortunately my team and I had a terrible few weeks in this Travelodge when we were booked in on a multi week job locally.Firstly some of my staff had bed bugs and the response was lacklustre, and they were quick to accuse us of lying rather than sorting it out, which is all we wanted. We were busy enough oon our job without wasting any further energy on any drama. Even as more staff came up with bites, we were told there was nothing wrong and that rooms had been swept. I asked for the room to be tidied (leaving the hanger on outside of the door) on many occasions, to return to it in the same state. Only in week three was I told that customers needed to leave bins and sheets in the corridor outside the room. For the money spent, this is a significantly underwhelming level of service. No one is expecting The Ritz, but customers should expect beds to be properly made and bins emptied if they hang a sign on their door ask for the rooms to be cleaned. Multiple cars broken into in the car park. There just doesn't seem to be any accountability or a reliable face to sort anything out. Even when I wanted to swap a device over on the Wifi network, I was told call Virgin Media, rather than have any member of staff available to advise.Book the Premier Inn down the road instead. Based on this stay, I won't be booking Travelodge again wherever possible.

For one night it?s ok, but give breakfast a miss, 2 staff on, outside on arrival looks really awful, run down horrible. Won?t stay in a travelodge again, no hair dryer, bathroom ok, but needs updating.

Far from the comfy king sized bed as advertised my room had two of the smallest narrowest single beds imaginable. Describing it as a minimalist room layout is being kind! Very uncomfortable. The breakfast was also hugely disappointing with a very poor layout. Ran out of bacon, then eggs, plates, cutlery and the coffee was awful. The key card system was broken and I had to be escorted to my room by a member of staff. A grim experience!

Booked a family room two months ago on 9th July 2023. It clearly stated on booking confirmation that we can check in anytime after 3pm. Arrived at 3:45pm on Saturday 9th September 2023, to be told there was no rooms left. I was livid and my 10 year old started to cry as we had been travelling since 9:45am that day. We were hot and tired and just wanted a shower and a room. The only thing the receptionist could do was email hotels in the area to see if they had a room. She had no phone numbers. I told her we needed to be at Chelsea FC for our game. She said we could leave our luggage, but I explained we had hospitality tickets and needed to change. We had to get changed in an 'out of order' disabled toilet and was told not to run the water as it would flood the bathroom. We returned to the hotel after the match to be told we had a room in Brentford - miles away! We then had to wait 40 minutes for a taxi. It was an absolute shambles. Do not book with this hotel. We were told it was first come, first served. We had no updates throughout the day either. This also happened to another family on the same day. Pathetic excuse for a hotel. We are taking this further!!

We stayed here for 3 nights to see family in London. The breakfast was just plain awful and almost inedible. The reception was often empty and there appeared to be a skeleton staff left to run the place. The worst thing was the parking policy of this hotel. I registered my blue badge and my daughter registered her car at reception as soon as we arrived and then a few days later my daughter started receiving parking fines from Horizon Parking despite the fact that we had followed the directions of Travelodge for people with a blue badge. The only good thing about our stay here was the great view of the Thames from our third floor window.

Thieves and lack of receptionist! Arrived around 7pm went out for dinner return back around 11pm to find my van and three others broken into. The camera outside doesn?t cover the car park and travelodge are not interested about it, just telling us to call the police. After paying £93 + £8 for parking I had to to sleep on the van just in case the thieves come back. According to some of the neighbours this is happening 3 & 4 times a week !? ( can not be true). Travelodge needs to take responsibility for what happens on they ground. Stay away or take your belongings with you.

Visiting Kew Gardens with friends. Location perfect The staff were very polite with a young lady called Iman on reception being particularly helpful and knowledgeable and in the restaurant / bar area, a lady called Aniya who, although she had to work by herself running the bar as well as cooking the food, cleaning the dishes etc , served up tasty meals with humour and professionalism. Beds were comfortable and room spotless. Breakfast was plentiful and hot.

I stayed in room 103. The bed and pillows smelled of stale sweat. I only discovered this when I got into the bed. The restaurant had only 1 staff member. Lots of the food and drinks were unavailable. It took 80 minutes for a pizza!

Pros - good as a base. Close to mainline station and lots of buses. Sainburys, Costa ten minutes walk and Brentford close by. As is Kew Gardens. Cons - workers using it as a base, drinking and smoking weed outside. Rooms very dated, rusty plugs, peeling paint etc. no hairdryer, washcloths and so on. Just a bottle opener fixed to the wall!! Beds were fine and we got a good nights sleep so in that respect, can?t complain. Did the job we needed it to !
