I don't normally leave bad reviews, but the staff member called Ibad insisted I should do so, if there's something I don't like.
Mr Ibad refused to make the sale through my account because I didn't have the Toolstation card on me. When I offered him my Drivers Licence (with matching name and address) as a proof of ID, he replied that it doesn't proof anything and I must always have a Toolstation card on me or the app installed on my phone. I've been going to Toolstation for years and never heard such nonsense.
The other two staff members silently agreed with Ibad, so I had to make a cash purchase after wasting some time trying to reason with them. Feels like all three of them need retraining.
