A spacious café including a terrace between the outer and inner doors which is still reasonably warm in cool weather. Excellent, friendly service.

Large coffee shop with classic, mid century style seating. The front entrance has a conservatory style section that can open up, so you go through that first to get inside. A staff member was cleaning the place when I arrived and all the tables were dirty, so I get the impression that at that time of day, certainly, they leave it to do all at once before closing because there were very few customers.
No filter coffee on offer, so no cheaper options.
The staff were friendly though and the toilet wasn't locked.

The Roman Road branch in E3 is one of the best. I?ve been both in person and ordered online. I use this branch a lot, because they do the carrot cake and a lot of the other branches don?t do it. To put into context, I have 5 options of Costa branches. When you go in, it?s quite large, but has that small village cafe feel. The staff are friendly and helpful. But also to add, they?ve gone the extra mile, because I?ve ordered online a a fair few times, and tried to find a way to get my points added to my card, which is difficult to do, (no fault of Costa), and any time I?ve left a message, they?ve responded personally. This time, Sunday 12th May 2024, I received a personally hand written note. I just wish I knew their name, so I could thank them personally, the best I can do is leave a review and say a massive thank you, it made me tear up in a good way. I don?t expect this every time, but it shows they truly care. And I believe that makes everything taste better!

Probably the best Costa in London. I am not in to all the corporate coffee chains but this particular Costa is an exception. Whenever i attend this place i feel as if im entering a place where i know i will be more then well looked after. What really makes this place special is the NEW MANAGER, she is awesome. She comes across Stone faced and managerial but in fact she is very warm and caring and will go the extra mile to please her customers. Always mentions when something is on special offer and will make sure that the service given is second to none. Plus and this is a huge plus, she is so quick at her job that by the time i search for where in the place i will sit down my order is already ready, im sure she is related to Usain Bolt lol. Also the fact that she is drop dead gorgeous helps lol. But not to get distracted she makes sure the place is kept clean and tidy all the time and never disappoints in the service. Seriously i truly recommend this place especially now with what i consider the best manager ever. Cortado and toasted teacake, lovely!

In one word 'Greedflation' at the highest level...Unbelievably expensive £2.70 for a cup of tea, £4.50 for example for a very small thin slice of cake (carrot) they're also misinforming customers by mass advertising (posters on the walls) lovely huge slices of cakes & large nicely filled rolls which in reality are very much smaller & very much less filled.How the Costa chain gets away with this mass profiteering...... ?

Normally have had a good experience in this Costa branch until I came across a staff member named Yousef who was extremely rude after I complained about his bad coffee he was so rude and ruined my time at this branch IWheelchair accessibility: Ground floor double doors no steps

My low rating is for the extra charge. I was shocked that Costa is still charging extra for oat milk!That is absurd since oat milk can be bought for the same price of dairy nowadays, and a lot of people drink oat milk.Sadly I won't be coming back!

This shop used to be so nice to come and have a coffee and a chat. Unfortunately the manager left and there?s a new manager and staff. You wouldn?t be how much the atmosphere has gone downhill. Queues back to the door. One staff was told she wasn?t allowed to talk to customers anymore. Won?t be going back!!!!!
