I've not been to this particular Toby's for years, I've always enjoyed breakfast here but things seem to have gone downhill a lot. Sausages, mushrooms, yorkies were good, everything was below subpar.
Pancakes were rock hard, the black pudding could've been used as hockey pucks, the eggs were severely overcooked and the bacon could've been used for a stab proof vest.
The lady that greeted us at the bar was miserable as sin, it felt me and my daughter being there was inconveniencing her.
When the chef came out I explained that the black pudding was tough and inedible. He looked at me offended and said this is it and he won't be making anymore. Honestly I've always liked Toby's carvery, especially this location, it is an absolute shame to see what it's become.

Been here many times and to be fair it's pot luck. Sometimes we have a really nice meal and everyone raves about the meat quality and other food. But other times it is poor, busy and the service is bad. Also been here for breakfast on a number of occasions and that is often bad. Food left out for too long and a very long queue at the very slow toaster.

Came in a party of 3 with a dog fairly late. Leanne looked after us and was very warm and helpful. Carvey was great as always.

Leanne was just a star! My dog defo felt loved and well taken care of! Food was lovely! I would say just one person wasnt very happy to see us but it might be just bad day us we were late 10 min to our booking. Shame there was no music tho? Overall excellent service ???
