I?m only giving 1 star because I couldn?t give any less than that !I had an appointment for my eye test so that I can get my contact lenses ordered at Bexleyheath Specsavers on 04/11/23. I wasn?t due for my eye test for next year or so, I only paid for eye test to get my contact lenses. I made the payment of £59 for 30 pairs of lenses and eye test. When I made the payment I made it very clear to the optician that I will be travelling abroad for 4 weeks, will the lenses be here on time as I have not many left at home.She clearly said ?Yes? they should be here with in a week or 10days. I never heard from them so I visited the store in the hope of picking up my lenses as I am travelling next week. When I reached the store, they said it?s not in. However another staff checked in her system & came to know it was never ordered. The optician never ordered the lenses but made me pay for test/ lenses. It?s so irresponsible & unprofessional behaviour to play with clients health.I am travelling next week & now I?m left with no lenses. When placing the order I even said to her, this is my first visit to the store the previous Woolwich store had the lenses available. Will it be available here, she made me believe it won?t be a problem.Now the customer service assistant who was helping me came up to me with a box of saleable left eyes lenses & trial lenses for my right eyes. I refused to take the sample lenses as they are non saleable & only meant for trial lenses. The lady was pushing me to take the trial lenses for my right eyes and saleable lenses for my left. At one point I felt very overwhelmed of her behaviour towards me, I?m very disappointed & unhappy with the service provided to me today. Why would I pay for the actual lenses if I was going to use the trail one. She was very rude & instead of being apologetic her behaviour towards me was very pushy. Instead of her being rude to me & insisting me to take the trial lenses she could have simply made an order, she failed to do so.Unfortunately I was so overwhelmed & upset of the circumstances I left the store without the product or refund.What is the solution???What is Specsavers going to do to their unprofessional & unapologetic behaviour shown to me ??How am I going to get my lenses in this short period of time ??How am I going to travel without being able to see ??I need an answer to it !

Very pleasantly surprised - usually use Linklaters but receptionist was very unhelpful. Specsavers saw me as an emergency appointment the next day. All staff were extremely helpful and very efficient.

Specsavers have been so helpful, I had a problem and was seen right away, I went back this year for a sight test, I got new glass and was treated with respect and kindness, all the staff are friendly and helpful, it's really busy, but I didn't wait any longer then 10 minutes, you get you glasses after a week, I will be going back next year, thank you.

I went to collect new glasses, but on trying them on, they only worked if the test sheet was 3 inches from my face, any further and it was totally blurry. This annoyed the woman at the cash desk, greatly! She was most put out and sighed and told me to take a seat in the waiting area and that there was at least a 15 minute wait to see someone.Eventually, I was called over to a booth. The woman then told me that because my prescription had changed, the glasses had to belike that and they can only prescribe glasses that work at a maximum of 3 inches away!!! Ridiculous - totally ridiculous! Despite my current prescription glasses being absolutely fine for reading and computer work. I only submitted to an eye exam due to constant nagging via emails and text messages from Specsavers.She refused to understand that I am an analyst and spend over 9 hours a day in front of a computer and that I can't work with the screen 3 inches from my face all day every day!!!She pretty much argued the whole thing with me. Eventually she said I would need to come in for a retest. I had to ask her to book it as she didn't offer. She asked me to take both pairs of glasses home and bring them back next week. I refused and stated that there was no way I was taking those glasses as they are completely useless to me, totally unfit for purpose, unusable.Disgusted with the entire ordeal, including the eye test two weeks previously. The eye test appointment was so unorganised, running incredibly late, no apologies. The man who conducted the test asked me what I need to use the glasses for, and I specifically told him that I'm on the computer all week. At the end, I was not remotely happy at the sales person trying to sell me every extra there is!!! Won't be returning to this store when all this is over.

My experience at the store was truly exceptional. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly welcomed and make me feel comfortable and valued. Extraordinary customer service skills set the tone for the entire visit.What truly stood out was the team's commitment to assisting me in every way possible. Whether it was their readiness to help, the expertise they displayed during diagnostic tests, or their genuine interest in understanding my needs and preferences, I felt like a priority.

Carly or Carley? i can?t remember how she spelt her name but she was so helpful and really kind and chatty, i get quite anxious in social environments on my own however she made my experience very pleasant. Thankyou x

Well, not a cheap bit of gear glasses seem to be. But I got a good inspection of my eyes, was given a new prescription, given a choice of glasses and decided on my pair - not just the frames but the technology of them and made a choice. Sight is a precious commodity and demands a price so I parted with 400 quid for 2 Pairs. Pleased with outcome!
