Absolute jobsworth, unhelpful staff in shop. Told me cant use a voucher unless its printed off! ?Sorry its our policy?? making stuff up as you go along, always been told to keep receipt or takeA photo of it so you can redeem it. What difference does scanning the piece of paper or myiPhone screen really make you fool!Even though you can still fully check its valid. Didnt want to give me all the box and packaging for my A grade item neither.No other CEX stores have i ever found issues. Avoid these ? and go to another branch.Infruiating staff member 38594, if it wasn?t for the fact i travelled from Gravesend to get the item i would have told the miserable, sour faced rude staff member their fortune

I was in the store today and purchased two blu rays and the staff member didnt catch her name but her ID Number in the reception was 55178 which served me was Incredibly rude she snatched the cases out of my hand and when I gave her the money she held it in such a way you would have thought it was contaminated with something deadly then chucked them on the counter lovely customer service I don't think I'm quite surprised this place is still open for all the customers it looses

I'm not sure what to think of this place a second hand shop ,my only quam is don't punish the customer for your own stupid mistakes and maybe a bit of honesty could go a long way ,my honesty is your lucky its 3 stars and not 1 star

Wouldn?t buy my item due to a but of dirt on the plug adapter that they passed off as ?mould?. It wasn?t mould and cleaned off fine anyway and it works fine. Then didn?t give back my HDMI cable so I had to go all the way back there to get it back. Looking at some other reviews, I don?t know what they expect from second hand items especially when they work perfectly... Feels a bit scammy. The price they pay is also dire so I think I got lucky with my refusal of sale.Two stars because the staff are very friendly.

The staff here moreso than other CEX stores definitely need to take a happy pill before going to work ! Miserable and as arrogant as I've ever encountered in retail ! Do none of you want to be there ? Well if that's the case get another job or make people feel welcome and not treat us all like we are scum bags trying to sell stolen items ! Other than this the store has good choice of media and I just have to block out the attitude problems.

This place is a scam when buying used goods. They don't make or allow to make photos of a designated product to keep as proof. When taking the faulty product back I was accused of dropping it and then blaming the fault on me. Bypassing their own warranty to be able to keep their money and not allow me to get it back.

Hardly touched laptop ? 2020 acer aspire brought at £300 I got quoted £26 to £32 on top of that is was based on a quote from another laptop as they said my 1 was not coming up.Couple of doors down from CEX, The guys who sell phone cases quoted me £90 and they checked cex online, straight away found my laptop. It came up as £58 cash £86 for voucher for CEX ?. To my surprise they offered me £90. I declined as I has a few more places to visit. I ended up going to SMART TECH in Sidcup. They quoted me £95... who needs CEX...

I quite like this store, I have to say the music is always good, unlike some other stores where it's less than desirable.The shelves are always neat and in good order, it's easy to find what I'm browsing for.I also have to say the knowledge of games in particular is amazing for a few members of staff, giving me recommendations for games I never knew existed.The only reason for 4 stars is that I feel the staff are over worked, for example, there's a lengthy queue and not enough staff to help as they are already busy with others. Maybe hire on or two more as it can be busy at weekendsOther than that, I enjoy popping in everyone in a while, great store and lovely staff always willing to have a chat.

Sold two bits of equipment roughly worth around £1200 to CEX, didn't receive the money when they said I would, their twitter support takes around 4-5 hours tor respond with useless responses, have to go to the store myself to find out whats going on - turns out the store sent a wopping £1200 to an entirely different person, even though I confirmed my bank details at the store. Nobody bothered to contact me when this mistake was made, no compensation offered. They've placed the products they agreed to buy off me, on their windows, while a stranger is sitting on a wonderful £1200 out of nowhere.Still no idea when im getting my money.

Very bad customer service . This was my first visit to the store .The guy who served me , wearing red Cex t shirt , ginger hair & wearing glasses served me like he had no other choice but to work there .No smile in his face , no thanking or please .when taking the order or closing the order .I find it very rude.

Lovely store with some top people in there. Always willing to help and chat about the purchases I bring to the till. They also all know my love for Resident Evil and remember about it every time I'm there ??. Definitely a good one!
