We brought them an app during lockdown 2 years ago that was an investment scam and they endorsed it to us losing us £29k and now are still trying to avoid paying us back just couldnt get much worse !.

Went in to pay in a cheque for a vehicle tax refund. Directed to a machine that didn?t work three times! Huge queue for ?assistance? stretching into the street and one harassed man trying and failing to help.Gave up and went to Nationwide and got the job done in two minutes.Pitiful!

?? I was a victim of fraud by getting my card skimmed by a Tesco?s cash point that took £500 straight out of my account in the matter of minutes after my card got chewed up. I want to give a massive shoutout to Chris who helped me with the fraud activity. He mainly takes phone calls for Barclays, I felt like an actual concern by the branch team & explain to them to what has happened. Always bring your documents to your bank if you need to report anything so they can find you. I also got my money refunded within 24hrs. Because I was born in a leap year, the Barclays app cannot register a new account for me.Their app still displays a glitch for the birthdate. The leap year date of birth validation error should be remove by the app's developer. In order to spare people pain of opening a new account.Overall, the customer service at the bank was excellent and as I met an nice employee there, but their computer still displays the same issue.Fix it, please. As a quality analyst, I don't expect to find any bugs in my projects, therefore please fix this.

Upon arriving we were directed to a deposit machine by a pushy older lady (not asked how large or small the deposit was) it happened to be a fairly large deposit and we're not savvy with in branch deposits - so we headed to machine five as told and had to feed our money in a bit at a time. The machine had a meltdown and retained a large amount of my cash. We alerted the staff who repremanded us for making a large deposit! Surely they should have asked/told us when we walked in that the machine is for smaller sums.We took the remaining cash to the counter to work out how much had been swallowed by the machine.We were told to stand there and count it ourselves rather than the clerk putting it into her note counting device, which was hugely unhelpful as it was a large sum of money and took a while all laid out on her table.When they opened the deposit machine - somehow they came back with a figure that was £70 short of the total I had walked in with! And repeatedly told me their machine couldn't possibly be wrong. Even though it had been taking in and spitting out cash and then stopped working all together. Knowing for definite that I was £70 down I asked for the machine to be recounted at the end of the working day and left my phone number with them. They said they'd call once it had been done but made us feel like we were not believed and we were an inconvenience! £70 of my money has been taken and they couldn't be less helpful in retrieving it and just downright condescending and rude. Just expect me to walk away as I must be mistaken? They did not call at the end of the day. Left me in limbo and were absolutely adamant I was wrong!I thought I'd check my account this evening and guess what, £50 had been credited to me. Not the full amount or even a phone call to say their machine was £50 up at the end of the day, I'm still down £20. Absolutely disgusting, the older ladies working there treated us like idiots and were huddled chatting and completely unwilling to help. I think I'll take my banking elsewhere. Nationwide here I come!

This branch gets no stars because the iPad meet n greet person gave us the wrong information about paying in a cheque for a friend who is unable to visit the bank in person at the moment. You need to train your staff better!

I came in yesterday to deposit some cash and had a few questions about a credit card. The lady at the front on the ipad was so helpful she even helped me open a savings account. She gave some good advice about credit cards and how to apply as well as answering my questions really clearly. Just wanted to say thanks for everything. Im new to the area so it was nice to feel welcomed in this way!

One star is generous for this bank. Staff unfriendly and rude. They strut about doing nothing yet keep you waiting. They push online ,not realising that they?ll all lose their jobs due it. Made to wait an hour when four staff members were doing nothing. Avoid this bank.

I would like to say a huge thank you for the staff who always is very friendly and helpful, A special thank you for Rachel and Thomas Martin from Bexleyheath branch, they are in the right place and are doing a fantastic job, I cannot thank them enough for their work. After not pleasant experience at Woolwich they made their best to show that the customer comes first.

Highly disappointed but not shocked with their service as you can see from the other reviews. I had a very simple request which would take no longer than 5 minutes. I know it only takes a short time since I had just been to Santander to handle my other account. However, Barclays, especially the Bexleyheath branch are incapable of sufficient customer service and efficiency. I was told to wait 40 minutes and was dismissed. The two staff members I spoke to were not doing anything and were chatting, not solely about work as everyone could hear their conversation. I did not need to use the machines and their main desk was closed, and the staff hovering with iPads hide so they do not have to work. Their dismissive and condescending attitude towards me was very disrespectful as I spoke in a polite tone. Santander have less staff, yet solved my issue in under 5 minutes. You?d never experience the rudeness and condescending attitude the staff in Santander. Working on the shop floor, their main priority is customer service but you?d think they have never been taught that by their rude responses. Staff chatter in the corner while they could help customers and make the whole process run smoothly and efficiently. The staff at this branch think too highly of themselves which I don?t understand why as they earn minimum wage on a Barclays shop floor and is not a job that requires any real skill or talent. It?s pathetic that with all these poor reviews they are yet to change their attitude towards clients.

They avertise on website(branch finder) that they can print new barclaycard at branch but they dont provide this service-VERY POOR SERVICES and bad informations
