This shop should be renamed 'The Treasure Trove.'Yes it may not be bright and organised by colour like other charity shops but it's an Aladdin's cave of treasure and the staff are lovely, especially Phil. I've been going in for years now and he's great to chat to.I've found many reference books on their specialist table and the kids love buying books and little toys from the drawer. My Nana loves going in after Christmas for the decorations, she recently made a purchase of a wall hanging of Santa, beautiful thing and although Phil said it doesn't work and gave her a little discount because of that fact, she took it home and got it working.I really recommend this shop for the pure choice and variety of items and really good prices.

For many years I was a happy customer of the store but with my latest purchase they destroyed all my trust in the shop-keepers working there. A few days back I found a couple of nice looking hi-fi speakers for a good price. I asked Paul (one of the cashiers) if I can return it for a refund if they are not working properly, he repeatedly said yes. Unfortunately few of the speakers in the set were faulty so I had to return them. Few days later another gentleman (Phil?) behind the till informed me they don't accept returns. After 20 minutes of argument he gave me a phone number, asked me to leave the speakers with him and offered me a chance for refund if their technician indeed finds them faulty. The phone number he gave me is not connected so I can't reach them. I live far so can't even pop in to get updates. I feel cheated, not once, but twice. They have my money and they have my speaker set too. Well played. Avoid this shop.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Always a variety of things to browse through and later purchase, unlike most similar stores who sell just mainly clothes. There's always something new and unexpected within the establishment every week. Would recommend to people who like collecting 'old things', obscure tech, and other forms of memorabilia.
