Standard Travelodge Hotel, with all the business accessories including meeting rooms and business office services. They even allowed dogs into the rooms which was very useful for a friend of mine who got stuck in London at the last minute. Staff were very very friendly and amicable with regards to the dog.

Convenient location with great food nearby, but not very clean (used teaspoons left with the cups, hair blocking the sink, and the bathroom extractor fan was not working) I mean I know it's just a Travelodge so you're not expecting luxury but still, others I've been to have been clean. Nice staff though.

In my experience, the staff were very friendly. The room itself was clean and tidy. A minor issue was that there was no hand wash in the bathroom. Also, there is no unlimited free Wi-Fi. A bigger issue for me was that it was very noisy at night which meant that I didn't sleep well, which is why I'd give this 3 stars.Walkability: Very close to the underground and over ground stations as well as the surrounding parks and cafes.

One of the worst hotels I?ve been to. The room was not cleaned properly and didn?t have a fridge or hair-dryer (got one from the receptionist), there was a poor 30min free wifi only. Really small television on the wall, if you are going to watch it.The hotel was on poor neighbourhood, but there was a metro station close by, and a shop. Train sounds of railway wasn?t bothering when the windows were closed, but you might see hotel staff including the manager smoking down on the alley, what was a turn off for me.The hotel staff was partly indifferent even tho some of them were helpful. The manager (?) was too pushy. The breakfast was okay, pretty standard, but it was lacking vegetables. There were only fruit salad and warmed tomatoes. The most annoying thing was that the cards stopped working couple of times because they were ?too close to cellphones?, so that can happen and you are not able to access your room or the building during the night.

Perfect location for our night out, staff were very friendly and the room was ok. Breakfast in the morning was great - all you can eat. Will be staying again.

Phew, where do I start? Maybe first with the plus. The location is great - the metro is just a few meters away and in about 10 minutes at the Bank stop, near London Bridge. You can also take the line to the London Eye or Notting Hill. There is a supermarket around the corner from the hotel that is open until late.Parking will be difficult here, but there should be parking garages nearby. So, now to the negative experiences. Although the reception was friendly, we were initially given a room that had not yet been cleaned (or more precisely, disgusting), which unfortunately did not leave a good first impression. It can happen. So we came to another room. It was okay at first, except for the following points:- Only one bath towel for 2 people- No towels- No hand soap in the dispenser- Cozy light on the bed broken, so only the big light can be used- huge brown spot on the floor- No hairdryer (had to be picked up at reception)- No toilet brushThe next day we hung out the room cleaning door sign. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, we found that the sign had been taken down, but the room had not been cleaned. Nothing. No bed shaken out, no new towels, no soap, no new coffee,... We told reception the next day that this should be fixed. The lady was surprised that neither the bed was shaken nor the coffee refilled and she made a note of this. She would pass it on. What happened? Again nothing! No cleaning staff anywhere. After we got new towels ourselves, we were told that the rooms would only be cleaned after departure. I'm sorry, what?? So if you spend more than 2 days or even a week in the hotel, you won't get any fresh clothes? Phew, underground! We even had to get the toilet paper ourselves. Absolute impudence. Lack of staff or savings or not, but hygiene is the be-all and end-all.In short: the hotel (like a hostel for me) is fine for 2 nights, otherwise not.

I can't really think of another reason to stay here other than the relatively reasonable pricing of this accommodation. During Christmas/NY time it was much more affordable than other accommodations around town. However, our room was not topped-up even once during the 4 night, although we requested that several times. Stinky bathroom. Many of the rooms may be affected by the sound of the overground trains (which do terminate around midnight though). Most of the staff at reception were helpful. We requested to have 2 duvets in our booked and paid super room, however they told us if we want 2 duvets we need to downgrade to regular twin room which we did. No compensation for the downgrade was received whatsoever.Location in convenient with Central line station a 3 mins away.

Unfortunately I was disappointed yesterday with the room we stayed in No. 513. The pillow cover had a feint stain & so did the top cover. The soap dispenser was empty in the bathroom & I had to stretch to the shower dispenser for soap to wash my hands. It looks like the cleaner is just lazy & couldn?t be bothered to report about the stained bedding & didn?t check the soap dispensers. The other thing was, the first room given - room 113 the bed wasn?t made (but was entered as ?cleaned? on the system) & so was given a new ?cleaned room? The reception staff were very good though, just the cleanliness on the cleaners part, let Travel Lodge down

Average hotel in a good location. It?s a travelodge so one shouldn?t expect luxury, and it definitely isn?t. But, the hotel is in a great location for getting into London via Central line, just a few minutes away from Bethnal Green tube station. The rooms are small, which isn?t a problem if you?re just looking for a cheap place to stay. For me it was £90 for the night in November which is a fantastic price for a London hotel. That being said the cleanliness of the room could have been better, with steins on both the pillow cases and the towels. The room wasn?t up to standard in that respect. The staff were friendly though and the hotel was quiet. Bethnal Green is a pretty safe location to stay in and you don?t need to worry too much about walking around at night if you?re on the Main Streets.

Hotel itself was fine , usual travelodge. However the area itself leaves much to be desired .
