Rude staff trained to agitate customers. The manger Rae has mental health. Every time I?ve been in there she?s condescending and she triggered me by saying she?d shut my account if I raised my voice. I raised my voice as she and other members of the staff told me they?d call the police. For what? Stating that they only ever have one cashier at the desk who has a customer that needs her coins and notes counted. They take ages at the cash desk and they have no consideration for customers. There?s a long que, there always is, the other staff members are leaving the desks for coffee breaks and walking around or whatever they?re doing . It?s a retail bank not an investment bank. What have you got to do? You can see there?s customers to be served but you still chose to walk away. They have a priority to serve customers. This branch needs new staff that need management training. Instead of telling staff to move back when a customer like myself was angry, they agitated me more. They point blank stood in my face as if they wanted me to fight. Staring me out. Disgusting. As I left they huddled in a group pointing and talking like desperate housewives. The man that closed the cashier desk couldn?t have been busy as he came out the back office as soon as he heard me yelling. He was like first response on an emergency scene, quick on the scene but not bothered to serve customers. Further triggering me. Do your job and stay professional. The manager needs the sack. She looks unwell.

if i could give -0.00000 stars i would. god knows who runs this madhouse bank. staff are extremely rude. girl at the counter was not helpful whatsoever, made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I was told to que in the other line regarding my query. Waited about 30 m, as there was a patronizing customer infront of me not finishing up with her simple request. Staying for chit chat with the worker. They clearly knew each other. The lady (customer) then looked back at me and indirectly said ?there?s clearly no privacy here?. Extremely unprofessional rude and disgusting, i then walked out. Train your staff better, teach them customer skills! Expected better from a bank, liv pl st much more better. Outrageous and infuriating experience. ?

I ended up in that bank and the woman at the cashier said I was a thief, right, just because I was outside looking to see if my husband had been served in that bank that has prejudiced people when I went there to talk to her, she was still making it up that there were people who passed by my side and I hadn't passed it on to anyone I'm tired of this prejudice I won't accept it... This is a very serious thing

Service is extremely slow. During these difficult times it is appreciated if people could be in and out quicker. The manager is very disorganised and is very unsympathetic towards customers needs. Since she doesn't know how to approach customers, it makes it that much more complicated for a customer to fulfil the requirements they wish to work out. It is difficult for the customers to complete their services needed because of it.

went this morning.queued with 4 other people from around 9:15am but branch did not open, I guess due to COVID staff shortages, but why not put a notice up? would have spared people queuing in the cold waiting. appalling service

Very bad customer service.Theres zero staff serving on the tills, so i wasted my time by queueing up and them to tell me this.Why didnt they have a sign on the door.Bloody time waster. If i didnt have my son with me i would had closed my account as i have other bank account which give better service.

Considering I've been banking with them for over 21 years, they treat their customers appallingly. They lack empathy and have no customer service skills at all. I don't go in too often, usually just to deposit money. But the times I did I immediately regretted going in. I have transferred over to Monzo in protest. Been with them for couple of months and have had no issues.

The queues are survivable but the incompetence is astounding. They processed a cash deposit as a withdrawal, leaving my bank account down by double the amount of cash I gave them. I have been waiting all day for them to call me and explain what went wrong, all the while my bank account is empty because of their error.

Absolutuly useless. Have tried opening a joint bank account here for 2 months. They have lost my documents and have told me to start the process all over again.

The worst managed branch I have ever visited. Avoid at lunchtimes, I had to walk out after an hours wait to pay a bill. NAT WEST not everyone can use the internet to bank. Get more staff, not machines.... lazy bankers.

The people on the counters are not too bad but God help you if you need to use the customer service desk. Staff there are useless. They can just about help with the very basic questions but the chances of them getting it right is 1 out a 100. Please Natwest, retrain these staff members.
