I would not recommend this shop. It?s recently turned into the WHSmith bookshop. I had a look around asked the staff member (middle aged Asian man) if there was any poetry books in the store. He said no. I asked him if there was any writing help books and he replied with ?just take a look around the shop, I?m just helping out with the store so don?t know?. It was very dismissive and unhelpful. Even if you?re volunteering it would have been sweet to say it in a nicer way.

WHSmith at Guy?s Hospital Campus is a handy spot for picking up essentials, snacks, and reading material while on the go. Whether you?re a patient, visitor, or hospital staff, it?s a reliable place to grab what you need without leaving the hospital grounds.
The selection of drinks and snacks is decent, with plenty of healthy options alongside classic treats. They stock a good range of magazines, newspapers, and stationery, making it easy to pass the time during appointments. There?s also a selection of over-the-counter medicines and toiletries, which can be a lifesaver in a pinch.
Service is quick and friendly, and despite the hospital location, prices are fairly standard for WHSmith. It can get busy at peak times, but staff keep things moving efficiently.
If you need a convenient, well-stocked shop within Guy?s Hospital, WHSmith does the job well!

I regularly go into this store. Mainly for the newspapers. There is a African woman who works in there she has wonderful customer service skills and is always helpful. Excellent.

The sales assistant in the bookshop was having some issues with my exchange, his colleague, a blond short hair girl came in and he asked for help. She responded, in front of me, a client: ?I?m not going to help you my shift doesn?t start for another 7 minutes I?m not getting paid so I?m not going to do it?. I visited this branch today and picked up a Crispy M&M bar assuming as I have a right to that it was not expired.I was wrong. I took one bite and checked the best before date. The best before date was 27 August 2023. Today is 4th November 2023...This is just unbelievable really. Why can't you just change the stock?

Bought an xbox code, had to call WHSmith to activate it, was on hold for 8 mins just be told by a robot that their offices were closed and they're only open Mon-Fri. It's now saturday and i can't use my xbox voucher?
