Pret a manger is a big sandwich chain in London, they are everywhere, and you know what to expect: sandwiches, either in baguette style bread or in sliced bread. I had a salmon sandwich and it was pretty good. They also have coffees, juices, snacks, etc.

All fine except my takeaway coffee was filled to the brim. I had to empty some of it just to add sugar!!!! Unfortunately, just lifting the paper cup to tip out half a centimetre of coffee caused it to spill over my hand and scald me. I explained to the staff member that coffee shouldn't be filled to the very top, asked for some more milk and she filled to OVER the brim AGAIN!. I eventually got her to understand that I needed ICE for my burnt hand, and she provided some. A bit more training required, I think!!!

This wouldn?t be my go-to location, as seating is very limited and the place itself isn?t the best, but it?s also not a bad option if you?re in the area

The place was good. Please note that all products are of plant origin. I went one day in the afternoon and there was not much variety of bakery products.

Place was clean although very noisy and cold. Seems aircon was for the staff instead of for costumers.
The lady at the till was friendly and helpful.

Small branch with limited seating, but friendly staff and good tasting chai.
If we would have stayed in the neighborhood we would have returned.

I appreciate Pret for its style and products.
That being said, I would like Management to pay attention to an important detail. It happened too many times and in different locations. Some stuff members (based on habit or lack of training/common sense) stick their fingers in your cup before pouring the drink/boiled water which is off putting. Makes me think twice about my subscription which in my case is a good deal. Not to mention that hands are used on the till and other items, not being washed (I can accept that, just don't put your fingers inside the cup and hold it externally). Take this as you want, just stating some facts. It's small details that are big in fact.
