The one time I?ve been in here I had a good experience. It was fairly quiet (Wed mid-morning) and I was seen to promptly by Ash, who was friendly and helpful.Another customer near me was having some complicated problem dealt with by another staff member who sounded exceptionally friendly (they spent a long time discussing football!)

The staff is the friendliest and most helpful imaginable in a bank! Yes, queues might be long especially if you visit at peak hours, yet the staff are doing their utmost to help everyone. You always need to listen to their guidance, if they direct you to a machine do it, they?ll tell you even the sequence of buttons to follow and if there is a hiccup they?ll notice and come over to help you. I hope they can have some more staff to be able to reduce queue times and not have to be sooo busy!

Excellent service and I must single out Esther who was particularly helpful and friendly. Fantastic location that is well connected to tube and overground stations. Great breakfast and a number of good local restaurants and pubs. Also let?s not forget the excellent Borough market!

We stayed there for four days and had a lovely experience. The hotel very central, with most things reachable by foot. The service and breakfast was nice. The rooms were not too big, but had everything you need. Would definitely come back

Great place with the best service. I have been in many hotels in london and it is one of the best of them. Very clean and help us with all what we needed. It is near all very nice bar and places to go near the south bank

Outstanding service. Great hotel experience. Loved it all. The front desk staff was out of bounds kind, gracious and helpful. They went out of their way to help us with all of our needs. Great location.

We stayed for one night in a week away after having a terrible time at the premier inn gate modern. This was just down the road and a great location, lovely staff, clean and amazing facilities. Couldn?t ask for more

We loved this hotel! Close to the Globe, great starting point to explore via Underground or on foot, excellent service and the best nights of sleep out of our week+ touring England. The staff were so accommodating when sleepy teens needed to grab a cup of coffee to go, and the bar/lounge area were great places to gather before heading out or relaxing with friends and family who came into the city to say hello.

What a fabulous stay we had! I'd called ahead and found out we could drop off our bags as we were arriving in London early, and Elana (apologies for misspelling) greeted us in a professional bur friendly manner, eager to help. We tha k you for that, it was great to get out and about without our backpacks. Check-in later was faultless, again friendly greeting and such personal service, tha k you Esther. Room was smaller than we're used to, but it was clean, the fridge was a bonus, as was the filtered machine in the corridor just outside our room. The lobby and bar are beautifully decorated, a real homely feel and we felt very comfortable sitting playing cards with a beer or 2. , fabulous! Something for everyone, and food intolerance, vegetarian, plant bases milks, everyone catered for. The 'Full English" set us up for the day ahead, and all the staff worked tirelessly clearing tables as guests left, ensuring no-one was kept waiting, over what was a very busy weekend. Every staff member we met was friendly, professional and made us feel very much welcomed, and the hotel itself had a home from home feel to it, making us feel very comfortable and at ease. Oh and those pillows ? they're quite likely the most comfortable sleep I've ever had! Thank you Mercure London Bridge, we can't wait to come back!

Check in staff were friendly, professional and lovely. The decor was cool and elegant- loved the light features and the plants. Breakfast was fantastic The hotel is in a great location- a short walk from borough market and with bus stops nearby. There are also a co-op and m&s shop in the immediate vicinity. The rooms were decorated nicely and the bed was fab! Bathroom was spacious and to a great finish- just looked a bit tired in some places. We enjoyed the tea and coffee making facilities available in the room. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely stay here again!

Francois was an excellent host. Hotel staff were very considerate. Location very close to borough markets which we visited daily. great pancake and waffle joint next door ?? Women World Cup final was on and they ensured the big screen was on for everyone who wanted to watch.

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights, together with my son. The room and breakfast were ok, but I had a very unpleasant experience with the cleaning lady. I chose not to clean the room, because the hotel offers this possibility, and despite this, one day I found a package of tissues on the desk, a sign that someone entered our room. The reception confirmed that the package of tissues belongs to the hotel, so we did not have any problems related to the visit made by the cleaning lady in our room, in our absence. The other day we needed toilet paper, the cleaning lady brought it to us and we gave her 10 pounds, because that's how it's used. However, I had the following very bad experience: on the day of departure from the hotel, I packed my bags, left everything in the room and went outside to smoke, both me and my son. When we returned, the cleaning lady was in the room, in the farthest corner from the door, next to my son's backpack. The cleaning lady was very surprised when she saw us, and said that she just wanted to see if we needed anything. At the moment, her visit didn't seem strange to us, and we even exchanged a few words with her, especially since we found out that she comes from the same country as us. After she left the room, I noticed that my son's backpack was open, as well as my backpack, and the wallet in my backpack was half open, and I was missing 60 pounds. I knew exactly how much money I had in my wallet, because I counted it in the evening, being the last evening in London, and I wrote it down in a notebook. I went to the reception and told what happened. They had a very hard time finding the cleaning lady, they argued that there are many cleaning ladies and it is not known who was in charge of room 205 where we stayed. We gave all kinds of details, that she was a Romanian cleaning lady, that she had dark skin, her hair was tied up, and finally when we remembered that she had some gold teeth, they were able to identify her. They called her to the reception, and she came accompanied from what I understand that she was her boss. Of course, he didn't admit that he took the 60 pounds from my wallet. She remembered that I gave her 10 pounds a few days before, the one who I think was her boss confirmed that she also knew that I was so generous. The cleaning lady began to swear that she did not take the 60 pounds, and the boss defended her saying that she had never had such complaints before. As a result, my son and I were "categorized" as liars. We were told that if we want the police to investigate, this incident will take time, and we just had to leave for the airport, so we gave up. It was very strange that from the beginning we as customers were not believed, and the cleaning lady was right, especially since this cleaning lady entered the room before in our absence, when she left the pack of tissues. I wrote this review because we are very upset about this incident, but especially to draw the attention of those who want to stay at this hotel, NOT TO LEAVE money or valuables in the room, not locked in the safe, because one of the cleaning ladies is a thief.
