e celebrated our civil wedding at gundpowder and couldn?t recommend it any more. Even before the big day, the team were always just a text away, letting us make amendments to the menu as we wished and listening to all our wishes. They even prepared the wedding cake!
On the day itself everything went perfectly - obviously the food was amazing but the service was also excellent and it made our day even more special!
We loved every moment at Gunpowder and we?ll definitely be back!

Delicious food right next to tower bridge (look at the pic of the view outside the restaurant!). Such flavoursome food. The best bits were the kollam duck (this was a special though!), egg curry, soft shell crab, gunpowder chaat, doughnut, tandoori saag paneer and the cardamom basque cheesecake (unreal!). The Portuguese white wine was also really nice.

We got a 7 plate prefixed menu and everything on the menu was just amazing. Unique combinations, great flavors, beautiful plating and friendly staff. Would love to come again to this place.

Probably one of my worst experiences in a restaurant. Food was tepid, staff completely disengaged, atmosphere was dead (ok it was a 9pm booking).
Taster menu not inspiring and the ?wine flight? consisted of a negroni each and a bottle of either red or white wine between 3. Someone needs to clarify with the chef that a wine flight is meant to pair different drinks with each course (ie the client doesn?t get to decide between red or white wine - chef is meant to match food/wine!)

Gunpowder is my favourite for food but this time the favourite factor increased 10x for the hospitality by Ms. Swastika. She was too kind enough. Very Patient with my mom and dad. Very helpful in explaining all the menu. Her vibe is peaceful. In short, She is the best. 1 extra star for Ms. Swastika.

The single best Indian restaurant in London. We got the feast with drink pairing?oh my gosh it lives up to the name of a feast. As it starts the Negroni is placed. An iced cocktail to cool in the 90 degree heat.
With the Chaat, Bhuna salad, grilled artichoke hearts, chops, paneer, grilled prawns, and a side of Saffron rice. You will genuinely be shocked. Silence ensues after the new flavor. Each dish better than the last. Reaching, climbing, soaring to the pinnacle of Old Monk Rum pudding. ?I always have room for dessert?
This food is not to be missed. One of Londons best.

Absolutely unique and delicious restaurant! The wait staff was amazing, friendly and attentive. My family of 5 loved trying and sharing all of the small portions on offer. Wonderful flavors, creative presentation and welcoming environment. Plus great location at the foot of London Bridge.
