I visited the store today for the first time in a few years, with my 96 year old father. I was a bit worried having read previous reviews, but my experience was excellent. The aisles are nice and wide, I didn't notice any boxes left on the floors in the aisles. Staff who were stacking shelves moved aside to let my father pass. The Bistro range is excellent value for money. And I was pleased that self checkouts were mostly cash and card.

DO NOT ORDER. So just to make it clear you will order, your order will never arrive especially if its being delivered by Ibrahim ( he will probably take the order for himself) you will wait for your refund 3-5 working days. After you call support to ask for an explanation they will connect you with a call center (pretty sure not in England, we all know where the call center is based) they will tell you that they are very sorry and that this matter is very important for them but they cannot do anything about it. They will tell you that the manager mr. Josh Mathews is not available cause he is in a meeting right now ,but they will solve your problem.Them solving the problem means that you will get an apologetic email in 24 to 48 hours with the prompt to please do not take this incident as something that happens often ( 3 days in a row got my order cancelled) and they will thank you for your cooperation.Obviously don't expect something to change as I am not expecting for something better to happen with my order.

Today, I visited Asda with a mission: to purchase water for a building housing 62 flats that had been left without water due to emergency maintenance work. Families with small children were among the affected residents. My goal was to supply 10 liters of water per flat, and I made four trips to the store, as I could only carry so much at a time. However, during my third visit, the cashier raised concerns. Apparently, there was a limit on the number of water bottles I could buy?no more than 100 bottles. After reviewing my previous three receipts, they confirmed that I hadn?t reached that limit yet, allowing me to continue. But on my fourth and final run, the same cashier took a different tone. They called me names, labeling me as ?selfish? for purchasing all the water. Initially, they even refused to scan the bottles. Despite my attempts to explain the situation, their response remained unchanged: ?I don?t care; you cannot take any more?you?re being selfish.?This experience was unprecedented for me, and I believe Asda should be more discerning in selecting their personnel. Empathy and understanding are crucial, especially during emergencies. ??

I bought a microwave and a few other things I had a question to one of the cashier her name was Agnes but she ignored me and start chatting to one of her friend while she was serving me , that microwave I bought it was £45, but when she scanned it was showing £65 but I totally wasn?t able to ask her Why is that because she wasn?t looking at me at all she was busy with her friend, and she completely ignored me.

Wendy at asda old kend Road pharmacy clearly doesn't like her job. She is the most miserable person I have ever met in customer service. On 2 occasions she's been rude to me. Once I was collecting a prescription and picked up some throat sweets that were displayed at the pharmacy deck and wanted to pay for those, she told me to pay with those with my shopping (she saw I had an empty basking in my hand and knew I was going to shop around) I told her I wanted to pay for them now because I have a sore throat, she huffed. Asif it is so much effort to scan sweets at an empty till ?. I am a polite person, always saying please and thank you, this person doesn't say please or thank you at all, has no customer service attitude. On another occasion, the pharmacy had been closing the counter in the afternoon for breaks, I'm guessing they were short staff, however I was waiting at the till and even after the desk was meant to be open she was stacking the shelf behind the counter not acknowledging me at all, just her back to me, I thought okay maybe she can't hear or see me, but then she goes around the counter infront of me to put stuff away at the bottom of the counter, RIGHT INFRONT OF ME, as in the customer side of the desk!. If she is not the one meant to be serving she could just say, the line was building up and people were getting annoyed. There is another women who works there, I think she is from Eritrea, she is AMAZING! Always attentive and professional. I have seen Wendy have the same attitude with another customer, please don't just take my word for it, send a secret shopper, have a camera even and you will see for yourself

Tesco is my supermarket of choice. There are times I have to purchase items from this store as Tesco refuse to stock them.I dread each visit for a number of reasons. Below, I have listed 2:1. The ghetto security team who probably share a long list of convictions, are intent on harassing customers.2. The staff including managers have nasty attitudes and are not welcoming.During my last visit, I was made to feel like a seasoned criminal. While shopping, I observed three useless managers standing at the bottom of the aisle I was standing in. They were watching my every move under the guise of them having a half-arsed conversation about nothing. When I went to the trolley self-service area to pay for my items (which Tesco refuse to stock), I immediately felt the cold, hostile, negative attitude towards me from miserable staff. They must have been aware I was being heavily monitored by the joke of a security team and the managers who did not know whether they were coming or going.I was going to question a member of management on their questionable behaviour towards me. I then thought I would let them get on with their foolishness. Me approaching them would have given them another reason to believe I was up to no good.Even when I paid for my items and made my way out, my movements were still being heavily scrutinized.A security guard and staff member were viewing CCTV as I walked past them. They did not have the boldness to look at me. Cowards. If you are going to treat a customer like a thief, watching them from beginning, middle to end, at least have the decency to look said customer in both eyes instead of hiding behind screens.I am sure the rest of the security team were gathered somewhere round the back, crowding the monitors until CCTV could no longer pick up my movements.I was harassed by all members of staff from the nasty managers to the useless security. It was clear I was not welcomed in the store. If security were not so focused on my great self, they may have managed to catch a few thieves during my shopping trip.I have a unique way of choosing my products when shopping, this should not mean I should be made to feel like a criminal.Due to me being forced to use this store the useless security team should now be aware of the way I shop and that I am not a thief. If someone is being watched because they are acting suspiciously which in my case I was not, observation should be done in a covert manner. If the individual is shoplifting, they should only be approached if they attempt to f u c k off without paying. It is shocking no one in the harassment chain had an iota of common sense to not be so obvious and therefore make me feel uncomfortable. They were quick to jump to conclusions without any reasoning other than the fact I was shopping in a way unique to others. How I shop is not the business of anyone but my own. If I pocket anything, it then becomes the business of store management and those who are employed to catch thieves.I should have never been treated in such a disgusting way.

Lots of choice being a large store but the queues are always ridiculous. I avoid shopping here if possible due to this alone.
