If I could give zero - I would! Terrible staff and customer service , purchased a toilet seat , got home and when opened box realised the fittings would not work on my toilet , boxed it all back up and returned with receipt within 24 hours, told by manager not able to return as box opened and the lady on the till should have told me , I said no she did not , she told me to keep the receipt for return ! And I said to him there are ripped and opened box?s on the shelf?s , he said if that?s the case they remove them and throw them away ! Not even an offer of a gift card or a reduced one , bearing in mind he claims they throw them away ! So do not shop here and if you do just rip the box open whilst on site and leave them there ! Like everyone else does ! Expensive lesson learnt ! Crap staff who do not give correct advice and no signs up saying you can?t return if box opened ! What if you scan item yourself who would give that advice - other places allow you to return toilet seats , b&q should when it?s within 24 hours !

Complaint Regarding Inappropriate Behaviour by Trolley Staff
I am writing to formally raise a complaint about the behaviour of a man managing trolleys in the parking area outside your store.
Earlier today, I had an unpleasant encounter with a man who identified himself as being responsible for trolley management. He wrongly assumed I was heading to Asda and proceeded to pull a trolley out of my hands, despite my clear indication that I intended to shop at B&Q. When I explained this to him, he continued to follow me into the store, which felt unnecessary and confrontational.
I later spoke to a member of the security team, who informed me that I was the tenth person to report a similar incident involving this same individual. That is deeply concerning.
I would also like to point out that I am 6?4? and, as such, I am very conscious of my presence. I made a point to politely ask him not to speak to customers as though they were beneath him ? no one deserves to be treated that way.
I completely understand that working outdoors and managing trolleys is not easy, and I have respect for everyone doing their job. However, professionalism and basic decency must still be upheld ? especially in customer-facing roles.
I hope this matter is taken seriously and addressed appropriately to prevent similar incidents in the future

We were served by Musa today who gave us exceptional customer service. He was genuinely such a nice and helpful individual, truly a credit to the company. Cannot thank him enough for his support and knowledge. Will definitely be returning after such a great experience.

One lady member of staff on the tills was extremely rude and unhelpful. Did not bother to offer suggestions or help instead was very dismissive. My partner also experienced the same from the lady. Worst customer care I?ve received in a while.

There are no staff members available. I have been standing by the water taps for over 30 minutes. I was told that someone would come shortly, but no one has shown up

We went on a bank holiday Monday so partly only ourselves to blame for the large numbers of people there. But given that it's a bank holiday, they really should have anticipated that more people would be shopping in the store, and had extra staff available to help at the tills.
And as usual the staff on the floor do their usual 'disappearing act' as soon as you head towards them to ask for help.

Ollie is credit to b&q went out of his way to resolve an issue, when he wasn?t even one dealing with it. I tried a few other members of staff but they was half heartily interested.

Placed an online order from here, and most of it never arrived as out of stock (seven 6ftx6ft fences). There was no communication from B&Q to let me know, just a surpise on the delivery day. Online, it still looks like the order has been despatched and is arriving last Thursday, items still appear as in stock online. I called customer service twice, and both times, the representative could not reach the Belvedere store to ask what happened to my order. They don't know, I don't know and there's no way to reach the store. Have asked for a refund, tbc whether I get it or not. Pretty poor customer service and communication.

Great store with everything you need for home improvement work! Lots of paint options and colours, need to wait and queue for paint service on the weekend. Good garden centre managed to get a cherry blossom plant and wisteria. Staff is helpful. Can be queues at the checkout area
