Pleasant enough atmosphere but the food was poor (over use of salt to taste). Ordered a Pannetone off the Christmas set menu for dessert. So coming in without a reservation I was seated quickly. The staff was pretty slow to take our order but once the order was in it came fairly quickly. I ordered spaghetti. On arrival we seemed to be kept waiting overlong to be seated when several tables (not marked reserved) appeared vacant. The menu contained all that you might expect from an Italian restaurant but be warned the portions of the first courses suggests that they can be ordered to share - how I wish that had been pointed out... read full comment
We opened our first restaurant back in 1955, in London's Goodge Street. Our family wanted to introduce people to the fresh, simple Italian food that we all love from back home in Italy. Londoners fell in love with the fresh food and welcoming ambiance of a traditional Italian restaurant, and we had huge success.
Today, that simple recipe remains as popular as ever and our family is proud to now have 10 local restaurants, across Central London, all sharing the same values that our founders, Simone and Lorenzo believed in over 65 years ago.
