Bought a printer that was faulty. Took it back and was told I?d have to liaise with HP myself which surprised as it defeated the object of going through Curry?s.
The staff were non chalant about the whole thing, and encouraged me to leave a bad review.
When calling customer services, they refused to process a complaint without a store number; not accepting the branch name.
Had to call back again waiting for nearly an hour only to be told would receive a call back.
Moreover, the experience worsened when HP said they would replace it with a refurbished one rather than a brand new one.
Clearly Curry?s weak SLAs.
And to top it all off, the attitude in the store is terrible; staff just chatting amongst each other forgetting that customers even exist

Absolutely disgusting.
Syed and Faisal are useless incompetent humans.
I highly suggest keeping away from curry?s and definitely the Beckton branch. There?s about 15 men walking around in the branch giggling and having a chinwag. I don?t understand how they?ve been employed to represent a brand like curry?s.
We purchased a printer which had a fault. We took it back to be replaced and as we hadn?t opened it within 30 days to set up, we were told they can?t help and it?s our fault for not buying a warranty. The printer has a manufacturer fault and it is curry?s job to call HP and arrange a replacement or refund the money or exchange.
We didn?t want to return the printer. We just wanted it replaced or fixed - instead we were badly spoken to, told by the managers that we need to leave the store and when told that we will make a complaint, their response was, please feel free.
I waited on the phone for 45 minutes to make a complaint, then to be told by a call centre abroad that they anre online and my complaint has to be handled by branch complaints. When I got annoyed on the phone he took my complaint and said someone will call me back. It took an entire afternoon to get someone to do that.
You can?t reach a single competent person on the phone either to resolve an issue if there is one. I called about 7 times and got thrown around before this online complaint guy took the complaint. I?m yet to hear from the right department.
I do not recommend curry?s as a brand. They are a joke Their policies and employees are a joke. No one is helpful. I don?t recommend wasting your time with them.

I was very pleasantly surprised with the excellent customer service that this branch delivered.
I was looking to purchase the new apple watch and asked about trading in my existing one. The team were so proactive, helpful, friendly, all the way from the management to the rest of the staff.
A few very honourable mentions:
Dan - Very friendly and helpful manager, I came to him with an issue and he was more than happy to help with a very viable solution. He knew the strengths of each of his team members as well and you just got the feeling that everyone worked very well together as a team and enjoyed their roles because of his and the rest of the management.
Eddie - Also extremely helpful manager, very nice gentleman.
Ali - Took a lot of time one on one to ensure he could help me with all of my questions and by the end of it all, I was extremely happy with my new apple watch and his customer service.
Yalcin and Zaid were also very friendly and good at their jobs.
Overall I had an amazing experience and would recommend this branch and would definitely be coming back here again in the future!

Great selection and a big store but the customer service is diabolical! We were only quickly popping in shortly before closing for a wire we needed but the member of staff who served us was so miserable! As a customer service worker myself if i was caught before my so miserable and ignorant towards customers i would get the sack!! No hello, no conversation of ANY SORT. Just shoved the machine in our faces and waited for us to pay. Sort it out?

Decent store. Not the biggest I've been in but a good choice of products and although I didn't speak to any staff they all seemed to he helping customers where needed. Lots of free parking too being in the beckton triangle retail park (near to Sainsbury's)

We are moving into a new house , and we bought all our necessities from this Currys store and we were so happy and impressed with the service we got from Mr Akshay he was so helpful with recommendations and kind helping us with our subscriptions.
I will recommend Currys!!

To whom it may concern,
The service and product purchased is absolutely terrible.
Poor quality SILVER LABEL cable purchased from CURRYS BECKTON which broke whilst disconnecting iPhone! Cable cost £20!!!
Curry?s managers DON?T WANT TO KNOW!
They won?t help. They recite the handbook and as an explanation as to WHY you?re not going to get a refund or a replacement!
Also when purchased the young lady didn?t offer me the option for an emailed receipt!
I didn?t have the physical receipt so that made it all the more hostile! I instead showed a screenshot of the HSBC BANK STATEMENT showing proof of payment but that didn?t suffice!
MOHSIN is a narcissistic manager who essentially accused me of breaking the cable!! Then I asked to speak with another manager and I was given JAY.
JAY, to be fair, was professional AT THE START OF OUR INTERACTION but eventually got frustrated with me as he didn?t feel he could help and customer services weren?t able to give him the option to replace the cable or provide a refund. Jay then decided to WALK OFF and completely IGNORE ME!!! What type of training do these people go through? It?s SHOCKING!!!!!
OVERALL IM £20 POORER AND I HAVE A BROKEN USB IPHONE CHARGING CABLE!!!
I?m never going curry?s again. Absolute horrendous start to a beautiful Saturday morning!!
