We had a surprise Birthday meal for my brother there lots of the family had travelled a long way to be there - unfortunately the service we received was not good there were 14 of us we were given 3 separate tables in a area even though there were areas we could have all sat together - manager was very offish with us and no staff came over to ask if we were having drinks starters or puddings very disappointed as we used to go here lots.
Food was good but other than that everything else was very disappointing.

We had a fantastic experience at Toby Carvery, thanks to Tina's outstanding service. Her professionalism and friendliness made our visit truly memorable. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Although it was our first time at this Toby Carvery location, Tina's exceptional service has ensured that we will be back again soon. I arrived at 3.50pm with my 10yr old Grandson on Wednesday and was told there were no tables in the resturant free so we had to eat in the bar.
I asked for a menu the lady at the desk said your have to get one at the bar when you order even though she had a case of them behind her.
When entering the resturant I found it not busy and there were lots of empty tables and no que for the food.
The beef was fatty so I had turkey there was not a good selection of veg.
My Grandson had mash potatoes with his and found a very long black hair in it

Service was a little slow and food a little bland. Drinks machine wasn't working so had to pay by the bottle really they should have accommodated as it was their error by giving an extra drink. A voucher would be appreciated as we're regular customers.

Forgot to take photos but normally not a fan of Turkey but loved it, had the large plate Turkey and beef, loaded up with veg - really good value for money. Booked in advance but this day was full had to wait a short amount of time but was called from the bar area, quickly!
The ladies that serve are lovely, always polite and friendly !
Perfect for me trying to eat more protein! Will definitely go again !
Parking: Easy to get to! And just a calm atmosphere!
