I had a really disappointing experience at your store today with one of your staff members. The short lady with glasses (Time 23.00) was extremely rude and arrogant in the way she spoke to us. Instead of assisting politely, she raised her voice and dismissed my questions as if I was wasting her time.
What upset me most is that while she spoke respectfully to other customers, her tone and attitude changed completely when dealing with me. It felt as though I was being treated differently, and unfairly, compared on the basis of who I am. No customer should ever have to feel singled out or discriminated against while shopping.
Experiences like this leave a very negative impression on Tesco. I hope this issue is taken seriously, and that all staff are reminded of the importance of treating every customer equally, with respect and professionalism.

I had a disappointing experience at the Tesco Express in Elmer?s End. While using the self-scan machines, I encountered an issue and waited for assistance ? only to be completely ignored by staff. Eventually, a young male employee came over, but he didn?t say a single word ? no greeting, no explanation, nothing. When I asked for help, he didn?t even acknowledge me verbally. It felt rude and dismissive, and left me feeling like a burden rather than a customer.
I understand it can be busy, but a basic level of courtesy and communication should be expected. I hope Tesco looks into improving staff training on customer interaction.

A standard large Tesco with all that entails. Elmers End station is right next door. Pretty good bus links too. Costa cafe inside and public toilets. Petrol station outside, lots of parking

I came in recently and was at the self checkouts scanning my shopping and saw a young mother with a roughly 18 month old child being told she couldn?t purchase a bottle of alcohol along with the rest of her shopping despite having I?d because she was with a child. When she said you?re just doing that because I am younger and with my child and if I were 40 and here with my child you wouldn?t be saying the same thing the woman shrugged and walked away ( it was an older lady) I work in a supermarket and know this is completely wrong and disgraceful! How would absolutely anyone with children ever be able to purchase alcohol? The child was too young to be left alone in the car I highly doubt she would be giving her child any. If she weren?t a young mum I imagine it wouldn?t have happened and it?s disgraceful training. Will catch a name when I can. Absolutely anyone can get the correct information on the internet and know that is completely wrong and discriminatory.

Nice staff but self service scanning service is embarassing.
I usually use the self service scanning devices to SAVE TIME and although I don?t mind the scan check every now and then, to have had one for THE FULL SHOPPING today was just a joke and some items for battered by the removing from the bags and scanning and putting back in.
Ah, forgot to mention i was late for a meeting because of the extra time wasted.
There is a thing called technology and you may wish to consider implementing it into your stores!

Family visiting from America visited Tesco Elmer End two evenings. Both occasion till maned by girls using their phones and made it get obvious they resented a customer wanting to be served! I felt ashamed!

Motorcyclists are not respected by inconsiderate and entitled car drivers parking in the motorcycle parking bays. There are only five for us.This has happened several times and I have told security and even management. Nothing gets done. No announcement on the tannoy asking the driver to move. They really couldn't care less.An absolute joke when I feel like we are treated like second class road users/shoppers. If someone parked in a disabled bay doing the same something would get done. I won't be shopping at this store again. I'm going somewhere that my custom is valued.

I bought a large wholemeal loaf from the bakery . It was was inedible due to the dry powdery texture . It fell into pieces when cut and had no flavour . I am very disappointed. In addition there were no bread bags put out .
