Disgustingly, rude shopkeeper (Owner, I suspect)Been there several times to drop off a parcel, he's always in a foul mood.Here are some shop rules to remember -You are not allowed to drop off parcels before 830AM, reason - it's time for the local school kids to shop, remember, this is Harrods and the school kids are his oligarchs. If you as a rebellious adult do decide to break this rule, you will be reminded of this rule and told off, in somewhat of a disgusting manner.You will attach the label to the parcel yourself, regardless if the machine tells you clearly not to do so and to hand the label to the shopkeeper. Because, remember the instructions from the machine are only there for fun, the shopkeeper is the crotchety one you must listen to at all times.You will be told (over and over again) to walk over to the yellow box and drop the parcel in there yourself, no matter how many times you've been in the store and faced the demon himself.Last but not the least, do not argue, hand over the parcel to the shopkeeper on bended knee, bowed head and right arm outstretched. Or else, you will be told to shop elsewhere, even though technically you are not shopping in his disgustingly filthy, outdated and overpriced store for anything.

Great little newsagents with friendly and helpful staff.Also has a Hermes/ Evri drop off point which makes Amazon returns very easy.

Very rude asked to send of 2 different parcels as I paid for 2 separate parcel ,didn't won't to give to 2 different tracking numbers ,they should not do everi parcels.

Love this place coz it's my favourite EVRI parcel drop off. No fuss and they have a wide selection of everything one would need in a pinch!

miserable "corner shop" staffed by miserable people. Drop off point for parcel returns, for which, I assume, they get paid, but you'd never know it by the way they interact.

This place is your best option if you are looking for the WORST experience in Beckenham. Make sure you know how to go through all the procedures by yourself, picking-up/dropping-off the parcel because clearly the staff there are really not willing to offer any help, give any instructions or answer anything. I am sure the only responsibility for the staff there is to blame the customer of not knowing. Would have given 0 out of 5 star if able to.

I've mostly used this shop for it's Hermes drop over and have found it to be very convenient. It's usually rather quick and no fuss. Also great choice of sweets when you "need" a treat for yourself.

Some of the reviews here have merit, but some are a bit overly harsh. So for any of you fellow Beckenham go getters who are considering using this shop, let me provide a rational summary:- The Hermes delivery system is pretty good. You can simply go in there, scan QR code and drop it off. No need to really speak to anyone or waste any unnecessary time. People on this page are being a bit overly harsh with regards to their comments, what do you expect from this service? You are getting free returns, very conveniently. Are you expecting the red carpet to be rolled out or something?- The closing hours are taken quite seriously by the man behind the desk, so make sure you are "ahead of the curve" on that one.- The owner of the shop can be a bit grumpy, but then on other days he can be very friendly. I would label him an average convenience store owner. That is to say, it is all relative. Again, you're not going to be getting the same level of service as a high-end restaurant here. Different industries, different clients, different expectations. Deal with it.- The shop isn't dirty, I don't know where that has come from- The man does make you drop off your own parcel, but that is hardly a taxing request (you have to walk two footsteps and deposit in a corner)- There is an assortment of sweets, treats, chocolates, snacks and cakesOverall, it does what it says on the tin. It, very plainly, is a "convenience store".

Staff in this shop/Hermes Parcel shop are always super rude! Never felt comfortable with them. Once I asked I'd like to have a proof of postage before they start scanning (I thought it would be better to ask before they start doing it for the process to issue it) He got angry at me and rolled his eyes and start making fun of me. I was very upsetting, sad and it was very uncomfortable. Avoid this place. I don't want to give even 1star.
