Consistently poor service. One person on the till having to deal with a woman doing a huge amount of returns. Two people hiding in the back refusing to get on the other till and help get rid of the huge line forming.

Don't contact you to let you know prescription is ready or answer the phone so you can check. Poor customer service

I do not recommend using the pharmacy here. Only get advised that a prescription is ready to collect about half the time and don't even think about trying to call.... Eight separate attempts at calling so far with no answer. Endlessly rings out except once when somebody picked up and immediately hung up again. Just poor.

I really do never leave negative reviews of places on Google and I understand that pharmacists and other colleagues must be very busy and under pressure working here. However I had such a horrible experience here today I really do feel the need to. Today I needed to request a small emergency supply of the repeat prescription medication I have been on for years, because it hadn?t been sent in time and I had no tablets at all left. At first the man working at the pharmacy seemed courteous enough, and told me I would just need to wait for the pharmacist to return from their lunch and talk about it with them. However, when I did just that and was speaking to the pharmacist he then interrupted us in what I thought was a very unnecessarily hostile and confrontational way to say I should?ve called 111 first and was this even my regular pharmacy and other questions. I didn?t understand why I would need to call 111 and it wasn?t mentioned when I was speaking to him earlier at all. Then when he told the pharmacist I could have a few of my pills, he wouldn?t let me take them from his hands until I listened to a patronising speech about how I should have to pay for my tablets twice because I got an emergency supply but this time he would be good enough to not charge me. I genuinely haven't been spoken to in such a rude and patronising way since I was a schoolgirl. The medication I take is for my mental health, and I left that shop feeling like I was either going to burst into tears or have a panic attack. Surely you would want to encourage people to speak to pharmacists when they run out of their medication unexpectedly, rather than risk the potentially really dangerous prospect of going cold turkey? This experience alone means I?m now going to change my default pharmacy, even though the location is convenient for me and I?ve had nothing but good experiences with the other staff there.

10.22am and not open, states awaiting a locum pharmacist. Store should still be able to serve the basics and had a photo delivered to be collected but cannot gain entrance.

Dreadful experience every time , with some very confrontational staff, one of whom is always " too busy" to handle customers, gets her colleagues to jump in for her whilst she deals with her own lack of organisation, then suddenly finds the time and energy to interject into other people's conversations and berate, condescend and start arguments. How on Earth she is still employed (I'm sure that her colleagues dislike her cantankerous , unpleasant attitude as much as the customers, but she is probably untouchable due to the various "cards" certain people can play )I don't know, but if you have the choice, deal with the very nice Malay lady pharmacist there- she is more than helpful. Switching my prescriptions elsewhere so I can avoid the difficult staff member and her claptrap.

One of the smaller Boots stores in the area. Only wanted one item which Boots website said was on offer. As with all the Boots stores in the area they did not have any of this item even though there was a space on the shelf for the item. Strangely they could not order it in for me either and did not know when it would be back in store or in stock. Very disappointing as it was a Boots own brand item.
