Had an appointment today for this afternoon, but due to an emergency situation, I popped in first thing this morning..can't praise them enough..Lynne and receptionist accommodated me swiftly, dealt with my situation and I had an expresso to calm my nerves. Thank you so much All.

Only popped in for some non-prescription sunglasses, they had a good range of shapes and styles, although nothing under £100ish.Katherine was very cheerful and helpful, and also put up with my dad jokes admirably while helping me pick out a shape that suited me, since I had no clue.

I was treated with absolute professionalism by the optometrist, Elaine Brooks, who used one word that made the difference from all previous eye tests I have had and that word was, ?comfortably?. As in, ?which is the lowest line of the chart that you can comfortably read?? This made the world of difference to me and, I presume, the test result.

Recently booked an eye test at Bayfields Beckenham. Being over 60 I thought it would be free, but it wasn?t .Without being asked I was taken for a full eye examination and then a test. After the test I was told that my prescription had changed, I never had it explained how much it had changed and whether the change warranted new lenses.At no point was I offered a copy of my prescription, and still don?t have a copy.I?ve always tried to shop local, but since this local optician became a chain I?ve lost all trust in them. I?m just another credit card number for Bayfields to milk.

I cannot think of any way that Bayfields could improve the service they offer. I wondered how I'd get on as it was my first visit, but I needn't have worried. I found the staff most helpful, friendly & yet very efficient. They have all the very latest equipment & the venue itself is spacious & tastefully furnished. But most of all I was impressed with all the staff who were not only caring, but very knowledgeable. I am pleased to have joined them & will definitely tell others about my experience.

Absolutely terrible experience with the general manager.After being a customer there for over 20 years. I was told I couldn?t have an emergency supply of contact lenses until I had an eye test. I had just returned from hospital and was in no fit state to leave the house.I asked for my prescription over the phone. The guy on the desk started to give me it and the general manager said no he couldn?t. They would have to post it to me. My post is very irregular and I needed the lenses ASAP so I had to drive down there. Again, she was very rude I will not be going back and I will be advising friends and family to do the same. People buy from people they have lost a lifelong customer terrible experience.

As a hospital Consultant, I strongly recommend Bayfields for high standards of accuracy and professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. Eye and hearing tests are very advanced, up to date and spare you a hospital visit.

Just had my first annual check-up since Steven Harris Opticians have been rebranded under the Bayfields name. Pleased to say I received the usual excellent care. Very thorough examination and professional, pleasant staff. Would highly recommend this practice.

Bayfields opticians. what can I say, other than they offer a brilliant service second to none and the practice offers The highest standards of care for your optical needs. Formally Steven Harris that I had been using for over 35 years have recently changed hands but I can assure you that the services they offer have never fallen. On occasion when we have needed them in an emergency have gone beyond in providing us with aftercare .The staff are always caring welcoming and attentive to your needs. I Wouldn?t use anyone else. Thank you Bayfields for the great service you provide.

Rather disappointed.I was informed of one price for the eye testOn the day of the appointment I was called to say it?s a different price. Note my ask of what I needed didn?t change.If you call someone on the day of the appointment to say you got the price wrong, acknowledge it and accept the mistake.OutcomeYou:lost a customerGot 0% of £50 for the eye testGot 0% of £400 for new lensesGot a bad reviewNot sure I follow your logic.Got
