Had an excellente experience throughout: cam initially to renew my prescription as I wanted to have prescription sunglasses and was told by the maker of the sunglasses that my prescription was a bit too dol for them to proceed.
Booked an appointment on line and on the day. I also wanted to try contact lenses for when I do sports/gym activities. Despite having to book another appointment, I was the explained really well, through the first training appointment, how to put the contact lense and take them out. Raksha, the person who taught me was very patient, taking the time to explain to me how to do it and correcting me when I was slightly off the mark (It take a bit of practice to get it right).
I had to take another appointment for training as I struggled more than anticipated.
Got there in the end still with Raksha. She was very help full with good customer contact throughout.
And yes, I would recommend this place which I have used for few years now. The contact lense was just earn extra thing I did in this branch.

I was on time for my eye test but had to wait 20 minutes before being seen and one of the machines needed for a full NHS test was not working but otherwise the optician and other staff members were great

This is the best Specsavers in London. I've been getting my glasses here for several years and from start to finish, I couldn't be happier with the service I received.
Asmaa, the optometrist, took time to explain everything clearly to me, answered all my questions and made sure I understood my prescription and eye health. She was thorough and efficient and my prescription is working great.
Raksha always helps me find the best frames based on my face shape and style. She knows what she is doing and helped me with the lens upgrade options so I could get exactly what I needed. I always walk away with a pair of glasses I love and feel confident wearing. She's the best.
Everyone in the office is welcoming and professional. I highly recommend this Specsavers.

Toka just helped me with a hearing test at Specsavers - I didn?t realised that they could help me with my hearing as well as my eyesight- both were handled with kindness and I recommend anyone who is wondering whether or not to get checked to come here and do it!

This has to be the most inefficiently run business left on the high street, if it wasn?t essential for some people to wear glasses this company would be bankrupt, it?s like stepping back in time to retail experiences from the 1990s. With other opticians coming into the market place, Specsavers won?t exist in 5-10 years unless they make some drastic changes, the wait times and delays are laughable.

Never given a 1 star review but I had the worst customer service I?ve ever had in my whole life.
First off I booked an eye test (for contact lenses) in Egdware Road and got told that without finishing the trial I could no get the lenses (the customer service at ER said the opposite) then came to your shop to book an appointment and asked if I could do it in your store and the guy said yes (this was sunday morning around 10/11 am). I am on my last pair of trial lenses and still no appointment. What a joke, specsaver you better do better!!!!! Lost a half day at work for nothing

Bookings got changed without reason on multiple occasions. Their staff always used system failure as excuses. Some employees completely don?t care about their customers. Avoid if you don?t want to waste your time.

Such a disaster service! I was not feeling well I went there with my 2 kids, i was treated like a ghost!!! No one payed any attention and we were waiting for more than 60min!!!!

I recently had a eye operation and wanted to talk to someone at spec savers about a wraparound sunglases. After a long wait - no one answered. I rang again still no response. Very disappointing !! The telephone number was given to me by ringing NHS 111.
