Stopped for a mid shopping coffee shop and toilet break! How they gatekeep the toilets is ridiculous! I understand they are for customers only but wouldn’t let me use it until my daughter had paid and had the code even though she was in the queue waiting to pay and I have an access card to show my bladder condition

Pret wants to be clean, fresh, wholesome. But the place looks like it’s been left behind by the idea. Tables sticky, bins overflowing, a smell that sticks to your jacket. And the toilet—Christ. Just looking at it feels like a health risk. You don’t sit, you hover, and even that feels like a mistake. This isn’t wellness.... read full comment
