Unbelievably apathetic and short. Would not allow an item return within hours of purchase with a full refund despite another branch willing to do so. Definitely do not visit this branch if you expect employees to be kind and empathic. Go literally anywhere else.

Went to CEX Romford to return a Huwaei tablet that I purchased on line and returned it due to technical issues. The worker then ran some tests. He took my details and said that I don't have to come back unless there is a problem with the Tablet. So we will email you the details. I asked how long would you be to test it? He asked his female colleague how long it will be? She said in a couple of hours. Bearing in mind that they were not very busy and I had gone away for an hour. I did not receive no phone calls or text or email. So I went back to the CEX shop and I asked the for an update. I was advised that yes they will accept it back. And the sales person needed help from another colleague to process the refund. This was done and was advised by the female that I will get an email with in about 10 minutes. I did ask for some form of confirmation. She said that she was not able to do this. I left for around 20 minutes again.And so I went back and I complained about this. She said that they have processed the refund, and I can confirm this on the screen I had to ask her that can I have a print out the confirmation of the refund eventually gave me the prínt out. She printed this and gave this too me. I don't see how and why she did not gave the print out firstly. If she done this I wouldn't have to come back. I got the confirmation emails of the refunded vouchers in the a while later. I Feel that more appropriate customer care training needs to be given to the staffAlso I feel they should be wearing a somewhat casual uniform in front of customers so this identifies the real person.I feel that their customer service training needs to be improved.Eventually I did the confirmation emails in the afternoon.

I?ve been dealing with CEX for many years, they used to have a lovely shop with professional staff up the Queensway unfortunately they close down that store and many lovely experienced people left the CEX, I was coming there quite regularly and it used to have quite wide choice of products, cameras and consoles, but a new store it looks more deserted now. The staff is still friendly, but not as a professional, there are many young staff, who would arguably pretend to know, and then the outcome of that there are a lot of mistakes done from their side?It?s still a great store, but there is a lack of professionalism.

Something wrong with the General Manager at this store. Alway putting staff members down in front of customers verbally abusive to them. Both visits to store he was doing this and ot made me very uncomfortable. HR needs to be involved

Small branch but had a bunch of good electronics and a wide selection of DVDs. Friendly staff.

I had experiences in 3 different Cex shops and certainly this one is strange.This shop have some blowhard and pretentious staff which does not complete simple processes in days which takes less than 10 minutes to complete in other shops. They talk very useless and unprofessional.By nature of their business cex performs some dissatisfaction from services can be considered as normal. But experiences in this shop is not acceptable.

Using the CEX website you can see which stores have products in stock.Checking online I saw what I needed was at Bayswater CEX. Travelled there and got what I needed. Staff was as quick as they could be and friendly whilst serving me.I would shop at this CEX again.

I purchased a hard drive from CEX online and it turned up broken.The email agent told me to take it into a store for a refund, so I took it into the Bayswater store.They processed the cost of my product as £0, so when my refund was automatically processed I received the delivery charge only back - £1.95!I did not receive the original cost of the product they sold me £58. The one that turned up at my house completely broken.I will not be shopping here again or at any other CEX related outlets.
