ASK Italian is a one of the best place for tourists. The food was great especially Lasagne is great and also pizza Natale is also best. Their service is also good environment is really outstanding. For food starter everyone should try garlic bread with mozzarella and trio aron is best.

Amazing experience here at Ask Italian. The 3 course Christmas lunch was only £27.50, which is quite a good deal when compared to other restaurants. We didn?t expect the starters to come in large portions too and were already full by the time we got to the mains. The mains themselves were also extremely tasty and the service was amazing. Everyone was really attentive to our table. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly workers. I have several intolerances and allergies and they helped me very well! Also loved the food very much!Vegetarian options: Ze hebben genoeg vega opties. Bij sommige gerechten kunnen ze het ook vega maken!Dietary restrictions: Heel behulpzaam met allergieën en intoleranties!

Honest review, the service was slow and the staff were unfriendly almost coldish. I enjoyed the meatball and sage appetizer It was more flavorful than the bolognese pasta. I did ask for extra sauce and they actually made it perfectly. I wish it was just a bit more flavored. The pasta was perfectly cooked. My friend got the beef brisket papardele that was actually delicious. We got the desserts the tiramisu was very tasty and hit the spot.

Great atmosphere, it was quiet when we went (2:30pm) but they had customers. Staff were friendly, the restaurant/bathroom was clean. Ordered a few pasta dishes, cappuccino and desserts; good portions and comparable prices. Close Paddington/Sussex gardens.Vegetarian options: Great Vegan/Vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu that's very affordable.

The service was very slow even though it was early evening not busy eventually after attracting a server our order was taken then it was a long wait for drinks to arrive. The food was good and very hot but nobody returned to check if everything was OK. Our grand daughter had biscoff cheesecake with ice cream for dessert but it was put in front of her without any cutlery she used a spare fork we had! After paying the bill and returned to hotel I saw that we had been charged 10% for optional team tip surly this should have been pointed out before we paid not happy

We had a wonderful time. We were sad because it was our last night in London but Eniko (I think it was her name) made it wonderful. She was thoughtful, kind, and funny. She took a couple of minutes to chat with us (even if the restaurant was full), she made us feel special. We loved that. The restaurant is quite nice, the food was great. They ask you right away if you have allergies. The service was quick. They take care of their non-dairy/vegan customers with little stickers on the plate, to make sure it's suitable.I was disappointed because they were out of the dessert I wanted, but it wasn't their fault. The drinks were refreshing and delicious. The pasta were tasty. We will come back, that's for sure !Thank you for this perfect last night.Love,Marie & Aurélie

This isn?t the best way to experience London. Food is so so; service is terrible. If you?re stuck at a hotel near Paddington Station, it?s the best of a lot of bad options. But better to drift farther away if you come. A lame pub is better than this (and there are actually a lot of lame pubs ? pub chains galore).

A lovely restaurant and while the food was great I am disappointed with the service as was served by three different people and not once was asked if everything was ok with food, it felt like I was served the food and then forgotten about each time. Be aware that they add 10 percent to your bill for service which I believe is wrong for the reason I gave above, you can ask for that to be removed

We found both service and food were excellent. Also, very clean with impressive toilet facilities. Recommended.

I had an excellent meal here today with my girlfriend. Its definitely in my top three Italian restraunts in the UK I have been to. The food tasted really good, the price was reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered two dishes (Calzone Carne Piccante and Beef Brisket Pappardelle) and the staff kindly gave us two separate plates so we could share the dishes. I would have had dessert but was too full. I definitely reccomend this Italian restraunt if you are in the area.

The server was very rude to me, we were asking to have dessert to come with the main dish, and he forgot. Also, when I was paying the bill, I said no receipt, and the server just threw the receipt on my plate right away.

We had just arrived in London from a 6:40a flight down from Inverness. My wife and I were tired. The girls were hungry and cranky. A couple right turns from the hotel at Paddington Station and Googling stuff led us to ASK Italian, and it was JUST what we needed for lunch. A whiff of basil and a friendly hostess greeted us. I later learned it's a chain but who cares. The food was excellent, our kids ate a good meal. The wine was delicious. After doing the £ to $ conversion in my head it was even a great value compared to what we're used to in the States at comparable quality. The atmosphere was light and sunny. And, get this: our hostess (regretfully I don't recall her name) brought over a little plate of carrot sticks, bread sticks and marinara sauce for our 5 and 7 yo daughters as soon as we sat down with a cheerful, "Here you are, my lovelies!" That was a women skilled in her craft -- she helped us (and everyone in the restaurant) avert a hunger-fueled meltdown. Bravo. We went back for dinner?Kid-friendliness: Lots of good options on the kids menu and the options weren't insanely huge.

I visited ASK yesterday (Tuesday 8th August) with my brother for dinner before our train home. We were seated promptly after entering and the staff were very attentive after being told of my brother?s nut allergy. As always, the venue was decorated beautifully. We ordered the cheese fondue to start, the pollo de casa and a lasagne, and two chocolate etnas for dessert. The food was perfect. The staff were very friendly and their customer service was perfect- especially considering how busy they were! They even got our desserts in to go boxes for us as we were worried we may miss our train and allowed us to pay our bill whilst we were waiting.Thank you for your hospitality!Dietary restrictions: We were provided with an allergen booklet and a manager came over to take our order.

Was just what I needed after a long walk through Hyde Park. Gorgeous gluten free pizza and a refreshing cocktail!
