What a service in this place,Amazing staff,Bar open 24 hours for guest,Italian Food place cross the road, nearby off licence open late for your needs, free car park space beside only if you are early riser because it's 9.30am to 5.30pm.Shower!!! oh yes, loved it.Thank you so much for your hospitality ???

The Service was absolutely diabolicalour food was plonked down on the table no plates, no knives , forks serviettes. I even said can I have a knife and fork pls, and plates, we?re not animalsmy chicken burger was burnt. It was literally black. I?m shocked they serve it to me this way. I couldn?t even be bothered to complain because I was already quite miffed that we got no cutlery or serviettes no plates the food was just plonked down in a wrap in front of us. Not a word from the guy, here is your food or enjoy, nothingThe guy got our order wrong we asked for two burgers and 2 fries plus an extra fries we wanted three fries we got one friesThe guy serving us was so miserable I just will never go back thereIt felt very unfriendly and unwelcomingIt?s a shame I?ve been coming here for years although not a regularIt?s def changed in the last year or two

We stayed 2 nights in this hostel. Food was amazing and hostel staff very sweet.Towels not included. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and the showers/ toilets disgusting. There were only 4 showers and 4 toilets for everyone. They are only cleaned once in the morning.

I have been staying in this hostel chain for some time, one of the worst stays.I change beds twice, the room is full of bugs that ended up with my body full of bites, I even complained with the pet on a piece of paper to show it, and I realized that that specific room had an incident but they put people in, He also recommended that they not lose sight of their belongings since they stole my shaver, perfume, foam, I complained, no matter, on Wednesday according to the manager they fumigated the room, but it would be with normal insecticide, Thursday was the only day that they did not bite until it was early morning, when they bit me until they were full, again I killed about 6 and showed two of them to the person.Very good treatment from the dark-skinned boy who is there at night.

Honestly I?ve had the best experience at the crown, the staff were absolutely incredible including a specific member called lasharna she was soo polite and helpful and surely contributed to making my stay wonderful as it was. I will most definitely be coming back.

Empty pub and still had to wait 15 minutes because staff ignores your presence.Almos empty hostel and still gives you a room in the top floor, where there is only 1 person in the room, somehow the room smells bad, with 3 level bunk beds and STILL gives you a top bed.

Very rude, racist and drunk staff. Dirty bathrooms, no heat, bed bugs and no kitchen for guests!!In short, stay away unless you are desperate!!

As much as I love it here, the chef at the burger bar is a terribly rude and unkind bully, that almost ruined my day here. I had an extremely stressful sitution last night with a customer that was harassing and bothering me. The front desk staff handled my situation well. Even so I was a bit tired and sad from what happened.The next morning, I asked for a side of ranch and hot sauce during lunch,then asked for a lid and sample cup for the hot sauce. He points to the sample cup bucket for me to take my own.I was kinda surprised as the sample cup bucket should be kept hygienic and untouched by public hands if they are not left out with napkins and utensils. Usually, they are kept in a public area for those who need them.That was not the case here. So I take the sample cup then reach back to take two lids. SeeminglOut of nowhere he picks an argument and starts demanding that I should have asked for the lids, even though he had pointed out that I needed to take them myself earlier. He then gets a terribly nasty attitude with me in front of customers and the front desk personnel.I let front desk know what happened. The camera can verify everything I said.I have zero tolerance for grown men, that cannot properly handle their emotions.

- blood and urine in the sheets- bedbugs- no ac and poor ventilation- smelled like dead bodiesWe've stayed at multiple hostels during our 3 week backpacking trip, some are nice, some are sketchy, but this... Our room was not fit for human habitation let alone travel lodging, you'd be better off sleeping on the street. The smell in our room was so foul that we were gagging the whole time, and just long enough for us to pack our bags and leave.I raised these concerns to the front desk and they seemed to be aware of the issue and lent a sympathetic ear. They said they would honor a refund for our stay while we checked out to go find another accommodation. However they said that we had to raise a request through Hostelworld, which later promptly waived their hands and said nope.The hostel has since been ghosting every attempt of mine to contact them directly about the refund they said they would honor.I think this is a scam, they probably rebooked our same room to some other poor sods and pocketed the money. They know the room is cratering on illegal but are still making reservations.Unfortunately the only recourse at this point is to dispute it through the bank. Absolutely cracking burgers, must try if visiting. Vegan options and a selection of poutine style loaded chips. Relaxed atmosphere lots of space to work whilst lunching too. Will definitely be returning soon, lovely staff make all the difference. Many thanks!
