I like Lidl. I usually buy my plants and groceries there. But I'm not sure why they are stopping to sell some items in-store, like flowers in pods or even home decorations. Items are advertised on their app, but then you can't find them in any Lidl around Putney?Clapham Junction or Wandsworth.
Also, the Latin weak at the beginning had more options and found Venezuelan items on it, and now it barely has options!
I hope this gets better because there are many things I used to get there and now it seems to no longer be an option in those stores!

Good store but need to be careful on the Lidl plus deals. Often they do not go through at the till and activated coupons are ignored.

I come here every week for groceries but today I had a really bad experience with the staff member Abdion (I don't know if it's spelt correctly but I'm using my memory from the name tag he wore).
I needed help because I had a coupon for money off bakery items, but the discount wasn't applied. And he told me that it's only whatever is shown on the app is discounted. So I scrolled down the item numbers and showed him my bakery item was on the list. He said there's nothing he can do, and I asked to speak to someone else, and he said 'who?' I said 'anyone else' and he just walked away and ignored me.
So I attracted the attention of another staff member instead, saying that Abdion wasn't helping. Anyway the issue was settled, but when the discount was applied, I showed Abdion that I was right because it showed on the till that I got money off.
He was very wrong and staff members like that who contradict the shop policies with Lidl Plus members and ignore when they ask to speak to someone else more knowledgeable, should not be allowed to work here. It's a simple elementary job they do and he thinks he knows more when he doesn't.

Surly, unhelpful staff on the self service tills this evening, around 6.30p on 2nd April.
Shop somewhere else until they improve their attitude, customers have a choice.

I visited this branch of Lidl on repeated occasions and every time it was extremely busy ? though each occasion fell on Saturday or Sunday. The place and the number of checkouts are just too small and too few for the demand by shoppers.

I love Lidl and I always shop there. The only thing to say is that the baskets and trolleys are always soooo dirty and we are buying food so they should be cleaned. If they took care of it it would be perfect and 5 stars.

Decent enough shop, but the recent decision to remove the normal baskets (in favour of the pull along gigantic ones) was catastrophic. Not only for people with limited mobility, but for the shopping experience as a whole. The shop could be mostly empty but still feels clogged and crowded because of the sheer number of miniature trolleys blocking every aisle.
The staff are great and I'm sure this is a decision from Lidl Corporate, who fail to see the impact this move has on disabled and elderly people. Bring back the baskets!
