I?ve been coming to this pharmacy for well over 10+ years now and although the service and communication generally can be slow and cause inconvenience, I feel for this pharmacy as it just feels they?re short staffed and on low pay. Really bad pay in fact. I?ve seen staff come and go too often and I get why. The building could do with a refurbish but that won?t happen. No funding I assume. I feel for them more so but they?re friendly bunch.

Check expiry date of medications they give out, most only have one month left and nearly expiring, also very poor customer service.

Useless. Called yesterday to confirm what time flu jabs would end for the day, was told 5pm. I walked in at 3.30pm and was told the only person who could administer the shots was on an hours lunch break and couldn't be called away, so I could wait around an hour or come back another time. No warning of this when I called earlier.. I left without the jab.I then phoned again this afternoon asking them to confirm I could stop by in the next half hour for the jab and was told yes. Once I arrived, was informed all vaccines had run out early in the morning which means they must've been empty before I'd even called them. Staff incompetence doesn't begin to cover it. Don't bother calling ahead as you can't trust them for an honest answer. Word of advice - save yourself the time and go to the next closest pharmacy instead!

Rang in the morning to confirm prescription for antibiotics was ready for collection. Following this phone call arrived at the pharmacy to find it closed for hour whilst they have lunch. Nothing about these closing times online. The person on the phone didn?t think to mention it earlier in the day. I rang with no answer and had to wait outside for 40 minutes whilst sick. Whilst inside no apology as 5 colleges all come out at once. Awful! Not my first unprofessional experience with this pharmacy and will move in future to a competent service.

Whilst I have always found the staff helpful, when I visited today I overheard several members of staff openly berating someone with a mental health difficulty. When I challenged them about this the female pharmacist was argumentative and trying to defend this as a private conversation between colleagues although this was been held in an open space where patients are present. Really unprofessional and unkind behaviour.

They are always very slow. They never smile. As a customer, you say 'good morning' to them, but they don't respond. I asked why we were waiting even though there were three worker today. I thought they didn't see us because they pretended we weren't there. After that, even though I was pregnant, the manager was almost aggressive enough to attack me. Moreover, there was no reason for him to overreact, the other employee had made the necessary explanation to me, but he kept walking on me and shouting. On top of that, I was rude for calling him 'shut up'. I won't even step foot in here again. Note: Even though I ordered my medicines 5 days ago, they said they were not ready and did not give me.

Most people don?t ?enjoy? having to go to a pharmacy but every time I leave Day Lewis I have such gratitude for the staff working there. The most pleasant, helpful and caring staff ever. A big thank you.

Not one member of staff wearing masks. Speaking to customers away from protector screens. This is not acceptable when handling goods and prescriptions for the clinically sick with compromised immune systems. I work in customer services and wear a mask for 8-10 hours a day, if I can the can!
