Very impressed by the patience and professionalism of the Chapel Street team. There was an atmosphere of efficiency and purpose to the store. Everyone was positive and capable. In particular, my thorough and patiently performed vision check by Mohammed was an absolute pleasure because of his degree of experience, his clear skills in communication and his unpatronising perspective, while Aidan was first class in his advice on frames that would best meet my expectations.

Had my eyesight checked at this store over the weekend. All staff was helpful and cordial, the tests carried out thorough and I received a very clear explanation of the results. Overall a very positive experience

Great value for glasses and contact lenses

I ordered a new pair of glasses with a prescription given by an eye test at another optician and when I received the glasses I realised the prescription wasn't what I needed. Specsavers offered me a free eye test and ordered a new set of lenses free of charge which suit my eyesight more. The staff were very kind and understanding offering me what I needed without charging extra.

I had a visual disturbance for a week, an ophthalmologist friend told me of this service that you could get urgent care at opticians. I called made an appointment I got time wrong they still saw me very quickly did all the checks I would of had in the eye A&E and I was in and out in 1.5 hours, lovely optician very reassuring and I didn't spend hours in a hospital. Great service great staff.

Don?t bother calling. Nobody ever answers the phone. And when you show up in person to buy contact lenses, don?t expect to get a notification when they arrive to collect them. 4/5 times I had to chase - in person because nobody answers the phone. After 2 years with this branch I?ll be looking to shop elsewhere, it?s too frustrating.

I was a long time waiting for my order but when it arrived it proved quite unsuitable. I was refunded without issue (four stars) and the staff were fine but the phone system is ridiculous. It hangs up on you and says they'll call back but no one ever does, I tried maybe 15-20 times. Lose one star for the phone issue.
