I just called about a cat that I can hear meowing in distress between my home and the traintracks on the other side of the road and was told on the phone that they would not come out and help this animal because I cannot physically see it. I was advised to call fire and rescue who were shocked at the response I received from calling your emergency number. They said it is 100% your responsible to take care of an animal in distress!

Traditional charity shop open 7 days a week, proceeds going to help animals. Mostly clothes and household nick-knacks, sells electrical items too. Right outside is bus stop Story Street (stop M) with buses 17, 91, 259 and 274 so please pop in to rummage and buy, and you can get back on your bus at no extra charge thanks to the hopper fare!

This is a great old-fashioned charity shop. The clerks are always friendly & stock changes frequently. It's quite small, but I often find something after a good rummage.

A charity shop for those that like their charity shops the old fashioned way. Have a good rummage through the bits and bobs, books from 50p, vinyl for 25p or five for a pound. Bargain.
