I had a terrible experience after eating the Glow Daal. Unfortunately, it gave me food poisoning. The dish looked old and didn?t seem fresh. Very disappointed!

On the upside food is great - consistently my go to place when in kings cross and have some time. Recommend the shakshuka in the breakfast menu and the chicken burger in the regular menu
On the downside - the kitchen setup doesn?t seem to work very efficiently and can cause big holdups in busy periods with lots of people waiting to receive food on some occasions.
This morning was one of these busier periods. Was warned by staff that certain items would take approx 10 mins when ordering (big wait on the avocado halloumi muffin apparently) - so made sure to avoid these and only select the items that were on the ready or that staff said would be ?quick?. After waiting for 10 mins my order was still not ready so had to leave to catch my train without receiving my food.
Hope my £10 donation will contribute to improving operational efficiency at this location ?

Leon, along with Wasabi, is my go-to spot for takeout before boarding the Eurostar at the nearby station. The food is consistently good, offering a solid meal of rice with chicken and a tasty sauce. It?s probably the most substantial takeout option in the station area

Just had the worst meal of my life. The Aoili, apparently their flagship meal. Was served a handful of rice and not much chicken for £8, and it was stone cold. Sent it back and got another one that was stone cold. Nearly missed my train so had to eat it. Woeful experience, I'm fuming. Let's hope I don't get ill.

After a wonderful lunch in Kings Cross my friends and I wanted coffee and sweet treats. Being coeliac we decided to opt for Leon's. It was great service by the lovely Arvindra. He was helpful, courteous, and undertood gluten free. He gave me and my friends a great choice of gluten free treats. I even got a free cookie to sample. The coffee was flavoursome and strong and all the treats in the picture are gluten free and reasonably priced. Fresh baked cookies and lemon and ginger slice were delicious. We had a lovely time and will visit again.
