Disgusting lazy..a guy just refuse to check a shoe size for me

I bought a pair of shoes from JD Sports Chapel Place which included the display shoe. I was told it had slight colour discolouration from being on display, but that it would wash out and everything else was fine. The manager applied a 10% discount and advised there would be no refund or exchange due to it being a display item ? which I accepted.
However, just 3 to 4 weeks later, the display shoe completely fell apart, separating from the sole. When I returned to the store to explain the situation and ask for a refund or some kind of resolution, the manager dismissed it as ?regular wear and tear? and said nothing could be done because of the discount.
I completely understand no refund or exchange for minor display imperfections like a bit of dirt or discolouration, but a shoe falling apart after a few weeks is completely unacceptable. Really disappointed with the product quality and lack of accountability from the store. The left shoe which was not a display shoe is completely fine with no faults just the display one.

Had a great experience with amazing help from Ali (staff member). He was very patient with me as I went back and forth on what shows and what size I wanted to pick and provided great advice.

Oh this is an experience!
You have to ask the staff to open the only (!) fitting room, which has nothing inside but a mirror: no chair or stool to put your clothes on, just a couple of hooks.
The room itself is dirty and clearly hasn?t been cleaned in a while.
When my wife popped her head in to see how the items fit she was yelled at, with the staff screeching that it?s one person at a time, even though she had no intention of getting inside.
So if you?re there - don?t bother and just order stuff elsewhere and save yourself the need to experience this.

Came here last week shopping for a gift but this JD store doesn?t have as many items as other stores.
Some of the workers were off putting and didn?t seem too interested in helping, fortunately one of the girls, Nicole, helped me pick out some comfortable trainers and offered other suggestions!

This was my second, and unfortunately, worst experience at JD Sports. Although one of the staff members?a very supportive woman?was kind enough to let us in even with only 5 minutes left before closing, the cashier?s behavior completely ruined the experience. He was visibly impatient, rushing us through the transaction, and displayed a lack of respect. It felt like he was more concerned about leaving than providing any level of customer service. Disappointing experience overall!

Went to the JD in Chapel Market a few days ago to find a pair of tennis trainers. Although they didn?t have ?tennis trainers? at this particular store, Gabriel was very friendly and helped give truthful recommendations for a close substitute; this was suitable and comfortable pair which I look forward to wearing!
