I had ordered a hamburger, and when I started eating, I realized that the patty was so overcooked that it had become rock hard. I informed the staff and warned them to be more careful. They offered to make me a new one, but I didn?t want to go through the same experience again, so I refused. I used to love Five Guys burgers, but this was the first time I had such a bad experience. I was really disappointed that they served me a completely careless and dry burger.

I mostly order from this particular five guys chain as it's the closest to my home. It usually does the trick when I'm feeling for quick satisfaction. I usually get a cheeseburger and fries which is made well enough for me to gorge it down pretty quick. I'm rarely disappointed. Normally arrives quickly from when ordering. On the off times I have popped in to grab a bite I find the interior to be decent. I do feel the tables could be cleaned more often but overall acceptable. The burgers aren't at their best when the assembly of the burger isn't handled with care, patties and toppings all over the place and then wrapped up leaving an inconsistency when eating. Still it's a good, fast burger option if in doubt and the fries are always a treat.

I am very surprised by the good comments on this restaurant chain:
- it is very very expensive for the quality and compared to what you can find elsewhere
- the restaurant is dirty (we went there in the evening around 11 p.m.), particularly the floor, the tables not cleaned between 2 customers, the toilets... it ruins your appetite
- the decoration (the red and white tiles) is from another age and looks very "hospital" - again it doesn't whet the appetite
- the quantity of fries per portion is too much, much too generous, so generous that they served us the equivalent of 2 huge portions per person, it was a good ?commercial? intention but we unfortunately had to throw away most of the fries served: who can eat such proportions? It?s such a waste to see all that food going into the trash. Especially at a time when we're talking about eco-friendliness and people who don't have enough to eat, it's shocking - if necessary, ask your customers if they want an extra portion for free before serving it to them, this will avoid huge losses
- the only positive point is the staff who are super friendly
In short, this restaurant chain really needs to get up to date and keep up with the times.

The way they disrespect delivery drivers by refusing them restroom access reflects a lack of appreciation. Despite working tirelessly regardless of conditions to serve customers, they are deemed unworthy to use facilities. Services like UberEats, JustEat, Deliveroo should ensure drivers' basic needs are met and avoid partnering with such restaurants.
I had intended to order takeout there, but witnessing the mistreatment of drivers compelled me to choose a different restaurant for my order.

Ordered off Uber eats. I have a lot of deliveries from this specific location. As they don't have the option to have a grilled cheese with a patty, I called up and ask as a favour. Then I was hung up on, no proper explanation given.

It is disgusting that the staff uses the same cleaning cloth everywhere (wiping the trash can and cleaning the ketchup mayonnaise bucket)

I have frequented many Five Guys both here and in Canada and food has always been delicious BUT NOT AT ISLINGTON. My burger had no taste, fell apart the bun was so soggy (so ended up ditching the rest of the bun and fillings), the fries were soggy and undercooked and no salt (left 1/2 of them or more uneaten). My milkshake was much runnier than it has ever been before (however tasted OK).
I am extremely disappointed and at a cost of over £21.00 I shall not be returning to this FG and advise anyone else to steer clear unless they sort things out.
I prefer to leave positive reviews, but I was so upset with the taste, I felt I had to alert others to this. I wish I had read reviews before going in :-(

Not a fan of Five Guys burgers. Seems overpriced. Place is like a cheap canteen, not very pleasant
