Not all Costa Coffee stores are the same, but this particular one stands out. I felt it was important to leave a review. They always get my order right?a vanilla oat latte. I consistently experience excellent customer service. Although I don?t have much time, Maldalina is usually at the store and takes my order quickly. There are also two other staff members, one male and one female, who were not present today, so I wasn?t able to get their names. However, you can always ask for Maldalina when you visit.

Came here to buy something to eat just to use the toilet. The only toilet I found in the costa was the disabled one and locked. I asked the girl on the till if there were any other toilets available and she said to use the ones in the hotel. I went into the hotel frantically looking for the toilets which needed a key card to open. Asked a nearby woman where the toilets were who told me to use my keycard through the door. I explained I don?t have one as I was sent here from costa. She then gave me a dirty look and shrugged her shoulders as if there was nothing she could to do to help. Not very disabled friendly. Don?t know if the woman worked at the hotel but if so she needs to be a bit more considerate and work on customer service.

Very rude and incompetent staff. The place was empty but just a friendly face, never mind smile, would be too much to ask.

Disappointing Experience ? Rude and Unprofessional Staff

We visited this Costa Coffee shop expecting a warm and welcoming experience, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. The cashier was completely expressionless?no smile, no greeting, and no effort to engage with customers. When we asked about a meal deal, she flatly said they didn?t have it, and when we picked up a ham and cheese toastie, she handed it back without any explanation, again with zero expression or politeness.
When ordering coffee, we were told they only had skimmed milk, but the way she communicated this was indifferent and dismissive?no apology, no courtesy, nothing. It felt like she simply didn?t care.
We specifically chose Costa over other coffee shops, even in heavy rain, because we enjoy their coffee. But experiences like this damage the brand?s reputation. The way we were treated made us feel uncomfortable, disrespected, and unwelcome. Customer service should be about making people feel valued, not ignored. This was truly a disappointing visit, and we left feeling upset. Costa should really train their staff better to uphold their usual standard of service.

This was a disappointing experience as the moment we had purchased our coffee and snacks, we were told we were not allowed to sit inside. Many other places to get better/cheaper coffee if you want to have it on the go.

Incredibly unfriendly staff.
Don't know what happened that day but whatever happened, their behaviour was extremely unprofessional.
No need to have a friendly/helpful customer service...but at least not one that is annoyed and hostile at you. Truly bad.

While visiting London I stopped in here a few times in the morning for an Americano and a pastry. The staff was very friendly and the place was always clean. I really enjoyed getting my morning coffee while visiting. I hope to come back.
Vegetarian options: There are some vegan/vegetarian options and they are clearly marked. I like that I had the option of oat milk for the coffee.
