Rude staff at pharmacy, their system is down and that seems to justify being curt, ignoring customers, interrupting? they must deal with other customers who might have been impatient, no reason to take it on everyone else. They ask to treat staff kindly, it works both ways.Also, if boots have messaged to notify prescription is ready for pickup, recommend they sort their notification system to save customers a trip when their system is down and they cannot actually hand out any prescriptions. Overall very bad experience, do not recommend and will go to another pharmacy for my prescription.

The worst customer service experience has to be from Boots - Islington Opticians. I went for an eye test and contact lenses check last year and the following issues transpired since then:1) My prescription was not updated in their system, so I couldn't order contact lenses from any other Boots until calling them TWICE to rectify the matter.2) On the 18th of October 2023, I had to call them again because my contact lenses information was removed from the system. I was informed that it's because I was due for a test (this is fine) but that all my details are still on the system.- On the 25th of October 2023, I go into another Boots to get a contact lenses test and that Optician COULD NOT FIND MY DETAILS on the system. She tried name, surname, date of birth - nothing.3) The people there always have a bad phone line and can't hear you, no matter where and which phone you use to call them.Is it soooo difficult to update someone's details on the system? Now I had to reschedule another appointment which impacts work time!I called the same Boots again today and there is lady who assisted me and also gave me a Record number, which is something no one has ever thought to give me previously - really grateful to her. Hopefully, I won't have system issues again. I really would hate to have to deal with the incompetence at Boots Islington Opticians again.

Well stocked Boots for all the usual medication. Useful to have a pharmacist on site to ask questions and get advice. Also good for the Meal Deals when you're in a rush to eat. Note that the shop is mainly running on self-serve, so much easier if you're onky running with cards and not cash. And it does seem to close earlier than the shops around it, so don't be too upset if you turn up late!

The Pharmacy here is a place to avoid if prescription medication is needed. The pharmacy was not operational when the shop opened, a locum chemist arrived late, then declined to dispense as was awaiting a supervisor and then could not find the computer log to check dispensing records. If one queues here one will either get better naturally, or die of old age. Try Superdrug or Endo in Chapel Market.

terrible pharmacy rude staff rolling their eyes whilst asking for emergency medicine is despicable. telling me they cannot give me medication because i requested it via 111 when this has never ever been an issue before. if you have to choose a pharmacy via 111 DO NOT CHOOSE THIS ONE

Staff are extremely rude, asking a question appears to interrupt their day, a smile is too much, listening to your question doesn't happen and last but not least the support for customer with accessibility needs are a joke. I had to help an elderly lady down the stairs as no one knew if thile lift was broken, and the optician told us it wasn't her issue as she works in the optinians, so yes department divisions take priority of customers needs, and quite serious needs, not just where can I find rhe shampoo. The managers reaction to feedback was equally poor, I had interrupted his day, which does not include customer service or delivering in line with his job role. No wonder staff come off so disinterested and annoyed by customers.

lots of people behind the pharmacy but never any one behind the shop bit so always a long wait to be served at the shop bit. Yesterday I had to join the long queue of people getting there prescriptions just to buy something from the shop.rediculas

Worst pharmacy ever. If you need a prescription AVOID this Boots.There?s always a queue and often just 1 pharmacist who might be busy giving vaccinations whilst you would like to pick up your prescription. Tough luck, you need to wait half an hour.Just today I waited 2 hours and then left because there WAS NO PHARMACIST at all on shift. They just didn?t show up. I was shocked. How can this pharmacy operate?Just avoid!

The pharmacy always has an incredibly long queue regardless of the day or time. There is usually only 1 pharmacist on duty and another behind the desk who doesn?t speak to anyone or offer any assistance. There are old people in the queue and people who need medicines urgently. I have had to come here every 3 months for nearly two years and it?s always the same. I wish there was another boots in the area because it had been such a genuinely horrible experience

It?s a shop full of thieves pretend to be working there.My order of an expensive perfume is there for over a month. Despite many visits I could not receive this perfume. Now I received the email which declares that give the feedback about your order that have been received by you.

This Boots used to be a jewel in Angel. Now, it kinda feels like a dying joke. Maybe it's just when I go in, but there's no vibe. It has the energy of that aunt who used to party at the Met Bar in the 90s but now hangs out in Wetherspoons!Having said that, you can get the things you expect. I'm not knocking it!Although there aren't many members of staff around. The upstairs regularly has long queues for 1 cashier andownstairsrs you have to fend for yourself with the self-servicece machine.This Boots is a casualty of a world where the High Street is fast becoming nostalgia for Gen X. There's so much floor space.Perhaps the problem is this Boots is, in fact, too big for its own!
