Great experience overall. The optician who tested my eyes was very thorough and my eye health was reviewed with upmost care.I would recommend to visit Specsavers Barnet and if you have any concerns before during or after your visit, ask to speak to the manager or a director who can better assist you.

Specsavers Barnet is hands down the best place/branch for eye tests. The staff is friendly, the service is exceptional, and they really take care of your vision needs. I can't recommend them enough!

Eye test fine, but their frames and lenses are very very expensive. Also, the sales person trying to sell me the new glasses kept changing prices. They wanted £500 for one pair, no thanks!

I have been using Specsavers for years. I have aprox 10 pairs of glasses with them, prescription sunglasses as well. I have astigmatism and am shortsighted and my astigmatism increases a little bit every year so every couple of years usually I renew my glasses and use their promotions . I want to say that overtime I have tried the more expensive frames and cheaper ones and so far I am most pleased with Specsavers own frames and Cath kidston in terms of comfort, durability and design. Thank you very much.

Courteous and professional service. Very helpful and friendly staff....especially patient with my son's attempts to put contacts in for the first time. I highly recommend this branch of SpecSavers. ?

Had an eye test .paid for new lenses. The eye test was wrong so I couldn't see out of the Glasses. Went to a proper opticians. They gave me a correct eye test so I brought a new pair of glasses from them.went back to specsavers gave them the correct prescription they put new lenses in my old glasses. It took 5 months from start to finish.avoid at all cost's.

I have been using Specsavers Barnet for years and found the branch is wonderfully managed and run and all staff are highly trained and professional about how they go about their business. The after sales service is also excellent.Our whole family use this branch and they also looked after my elderly mum and dad really well , and staff were always so patient with them.

I am pleased to say I have been using SpecSavers Barnet for many years. I have worked with most of the team, but have been consistently impressed by the team led by Pragna. She is exceptionally professional, and committed to providing outstanding eye care which shows in her attention to detail.Specifically, having someone not to give up on me and work closely with me to find an eye solution that works! I was unable to wear contact lens via 3 other opticians before I met the team here.The team possess an extensive knowledge of optometry and demonstrate a deep understanding of the latest advancements in this space. Albeit it is fascinating and complex, the team are helpful enough to explain to me the eye health concepts in a clear and concise manner; making it easy for me to understand. This of course leading to myself becoming a lifelong patient.I was really impressed that they are now able to complete really thorough eye scans including the rear of the eye. All very easy and painless.Pragna and the team are warm and empathetic, which has always made me comfortable discussing my eye health issues with her and the team that she leads.Great Job, Thanks for all the help!

My recent encounter with Specsavers left me feeling undeniably manipulated.I started a contact lens trial with them last month. Before finishing the trial I decided the prescription values were right for me and ordered contact lenses online (I had to put the Specsavers branch as a contact). The online retailer told me that they had to verify the prescription with Specsavers and that they had denied it.Confused, I called up specsavers and they informed me that they denied it before I had not finished the trial, but if I arrange an appointment and pay £25, they will issue me with the prescription so I can order online. This was an annoyance, as this key information that a separate contact lens prescription was needed (as opposed to just a glasses prescription) was not previously communicated to me. However, I decided to accept it and arranged an appointment.The disappointment grew when I attended an appointment earlier today for a re-test and to receive my contact lens prescription.After the appointment, I called up the online retailer to verify the now issued prescription from Specsavers.Specsavers had denied the prescription again!They called me up and told me that the preseciption was brand only which they conviently left out.They knew that I had previously attempted to order contact lens from an online retailer and knew the whole reason why I arranged the appointment was to get the contact lens prescription. The disturbing fact is, the specific brand turned out to be none other than Specsavers' own.This crucial detail was not relayed to me before I completed my purchase. Had I been aware of this fact, I would have chosen not to proceed with the purchase. This withholding of information, coupled with their failure to inquire about my brand preference, is, in my opinion, a glaring abuse of their market dominance.They have scammed me out of £25 and my time.The omission of such vital information is not only frustrating; it borders on unethical. It has raised serious concerns about the business practices employed by Specsavers, and I feel obliged to take this matter further. Consequently, I will be lodging a formal complaint and exploring other avenues to address this issue.Such tactics are nothing short of shady, and they should not be permissible in any market. Customers deserve full transparency, especially when it comes to healthcare-related services. I would not recommend Specsavers until they significantly improve their ethical standards and commitment to customer satisfaction.

If I could give no stars I would! Customer service in this branch is shockingly bad! I arrived 8 mins late to my appointment which I rang ahead of time as my car had broken down and I had to walk 45mins with a babAs I arrived I was told my appt had been taken. I explained to them the situation and they said I could wait. After sitting down with the baby for 10 mins I was told I couldn?t been seen because the next appt had arrived: no solution was offered just nothing we can do. Why make me a wig if you wasn?t gonna assist me. The Asian guy was extremely rude and whilst serving me was cleaning he?s ear with the same pen they was getting customers to use. Avoid at all costs!!

When i was told my glasses were readyi wemt into high Barnet and was with my husband iam disabled and clearly so with crutches i even needed help standing up to go over to a mirror to try the glasses i wasnt warned that the chair by the mirror was on wheels and the lady seeing to me didnt assist me by holding the chair as i sat down the chair moved from under me and because i have crutches i had no free hands to grab onto anything and i fell hard to the floor hitting my heaf on the walli was so shaken up and dizzy yet no one that worked there helped me up the manager stepped round me didnt even say a word my husband had to help me up i was in floods of tears but was offered no help or asked if i need. First aid i waa given a glass of water that was it i waa highly embarrssed and hurt i just wanted to get out of there . I heard nothing from them so i emailed the head office who contacted them. The manager of this store is rude self opinionated abrupt and unapproachable and surely staff should be trained in dealing with all customers including ones who are disabled including general care why was there no incident form to fill in or any first aid offered ?later down tge line i got offered a free pair of sunglasses . But that dosnt take away what hsppened and the rudeness and hurt and shame i felt it has knocked my confidence so low and since then been told im diabetic so eye tests are more important but i cant bring myself to go for a test anywhere as im scared of it happening again it has made me very unsure of myself it was bad enough what happened but to have not one member of staff help me firstly sit down saftly but to step round me and offer no help up or first aid is beyond me and now i need to find somewhere who will do a home test

I have had a lot of issues with my rimless glasses.Jayu has always been, and continues to be extremely helpful, professional and courteous at all times.He has a very nice polite manner and very smart also...I must have been in Specsavers many times over the past months and he continues to sort my ongoing problems out with my glasses !I highly recommend Jayu..
