I was using self hand scan and when come to check out the staff scan everything again. It?s make me embarrassed. Also when I pay by card it?s asked me to put the pin. Long time I am using the Tesco and always pay by card. But unfortunately today I need embarrassed.
I think the Tesco wants me not to use the self scan machine. I feel too embarrassed and thinking to not come back.

I am extremely disappointed with the way your store manages the self-checkout area. The self-checkout is designed for both basket and trolley users, yet today I had a frustrating experience that left me very upset.
I was purchasing fewer than 10 items, but I needed to use a trolley because I cannot carry heavy items with just one hand. Unfortunately, I was told by a staff member to leave the self-checkout and go to a manned checkout instead?even though there was no queue at the self-checkout, and the staffed checkouts were crowded.
This makes no sense. I had fewer items than many people using baskets, and I was already halfway through scanning. Being asked to leave not only wasted my time but also made me feel discriminated against for needing a trolley due to physical limitations.
I strongly urge Tesco to consider offering smaller trolleys for customers like me and to train staff to show more understanding and flexibility in such situations.
This experience has really ruined my day, and I hope action will be taken to prevent this from happening again to anyone else.

I had an embarrassing and frustrating experience at Tesco Barking. After paying for all my items, including some packaged meats, the security alarm went off as I was leaving. I was stopped and asked to take everything out of my bag because the system hadn't disabled the tags properly. What made it worse was there was no proper area to do this ? I had to go down and unpack my belongings nearly on the floor. It felt very uncomfortable and undignified. Tesco seriously needs to improve how they handle these situations, provide a designayed space for the checks, and ensure alarms are deactivated at checkout.
