“I have been living and coming to this supermarket for now well
Over 9 years it’s usually horrible , queue times , un friendly staff and rough loud customers or theifs but after a short break and using Asda and Tesco I went back last night for some bits and wow well done to the whole store for the revamp , finally organsided , clean east to access and everything is in catergorys so I can finally not have anxiety and find stuff I love how it’s more room and more options and everything is clean , well
Done you won me back and I love the self checkout has more tills finally , please

“Welcome to Hamza and Tharia Halal in Iceland.I really impressed by Iceland and specially to bring Ramadan offer before Ramadan.Store looks so clean and Tidy. Also staff was very helpful. They explained me current offer which hardly expected from any store.Highly recommended friends, especially family and colleagues.”

“It’s an okay shop. It has exactly the same issues as any other shop around regardless of the ownership. Same goes for the racism that’s mentioned in other reviews - I’m Eastern European but not Lithuanian and I was treated differently. I’m also treated differently by shop owners that are POC. I will never win but I’m not going where I’m not welcome. African people are one of the nicest (although they might seem harsh) but I am afraid now to even shop with them because I don’t want to be called white devil . Maybe if we stop on both sides we would be able to shop in piece.”

“Unfortunately I live in Barking, but this little Tesco Express is very handy, I only really use it on my days off to grab milk and bread (I work at Asda lol)Staff have always been helpful.I never had a problem with any visit here.”

“Decent place to shop and the only proper groceries in the area. One star minus for poor choice of meat. Chicken breasts or legs only and occasionally a whole chicken, that is it.”

“Parking free for an hour which helps when heading to the town or high street. They have good clothing section, fresh pizza counter, hajji baba that do halal meat.”

“I use this shop every day , because the staff are ALWAYS friendly and very helpful . These are hard times for the retail industry , yet under pressure , The Co-Op Staff and Management are always kind and considerate to people who are getting on in years like myself . A Special Mention for an ex employee . His name is Showan . I heve Never met a more helpful shop assistant or someone who worked as hard as he did . He is missed very much by Customers and Staff .”
