I visited on 26 August 2025 for approximately 40 minutes. I made a purchase at Home Groceries and received £90 by post today?
This is one of the most poorly managed parking areas in town. When I asked the Lidl staff for assistance, they were dismissive and stated that parking is not their responsibility?

Some time ago, I couldn't even find a member of staff on the shop floor to report a spillage on the floor. Pity that the public throw the empty fruit/vegetable boxes everywhere: see photos taken on 2.3.25. Needs more staff to prevent the mess but that's how the keep the prices down. Saw some mouldy cheese on the shelf (shown in photos)

Wow. Its Lidl but not as i know it! I pop in to get something for lunch occasionally. Its got pretty much all the usual stuff but I find the layout disorganised, the aisles seem narrow and its generally feels chaotic...people just hanging around the entrance, a couple of beggars by the exit, people with armfuls of shopping that are trying to find a way to get out of the store without paying lol. 3 stars still cos I love Lidl haha

Rubbish self service queuing yet again. Reported this to staff who do not seem to care. I eventually spoke to manager who again said they would talk to staff about opening the extra set of self service places. They should be open all the time not just on the whim of staff after complaints. Also charged full price for a marked down item. So had to queue again to resolve this. A great store ruined by lack of management supervision.

I have been living and coming to this supermarket for now well
Over 9 years it?s usually horrible , queue times , un friendly staff and rough loud customers or theifs but after a short break and using Asda and Tesco I went back last night for some bits and wow well done to the whole store for the revamp , finally organsided , clean east to access and everything is in catergorys so I can finally not have anxiety and find stuff I love how it?s more room and more options and everything is clean , well

Bought a mini chopper 11/6/25 from lidle's Barking. All the boxes in the store were damaged and the boxes were open. Managed to find one that looked like all 5he parts were there. The manual wasn't. But got one from another box. Checked it out at home. Two parts were missing. Phoned them up. Gave the lady all my details. Told to wait on the line. When I next spoke to someone, it was the legal team in Germany! It was assumed that I wanted to make a claim. I didn't. I wanted the missing parts. But I wasn't asked.And you can't claim for this item anyway, it turned out. It was only £9.99 anyway. Originally, my first thought was just to go back to the store and query this there. Wished I had done now, There was no one to take my calls later. The phone system just cuts you off. I'm not a very happy customer today. Next time I go back, it will be for a refund.
