Unprofessional people working this branch I visit this branch last week regarding to double payment cut in my debit card reception lady give me debit card coustmer care wrong number after I tell this wrong number after give head branch number not helpful

4 machines out of service inside the bank, no one looking into this and more than 15 people queing, 2 cashiers but 1 walked off and left the other 1 to manage the whole queue, queries station had 3 staff but only 1 answering queries, elderly gentleman had his card trapped inside machine but got no assistance and was distressed. cashier asked me if i knew my pin number to deposit cash at desk, when for years tge cashiers just take my bank card and the cash and deposit directly. The staff are quite entitled in this branch, the service used to be really good but now this branch is very chaotic. Furthermore, staff definitely need more training on handling elderly distressed customers, the customer service was deplorable. If a mystery shopper had come in on this day, god knows what would have happened next !

Halifax is the worse bank, their fraud department are trigger happy and make you feel like a Criminal rather then the so called victim which I wasn?t I know the payment I made was legit. Someone new in their fraud department really has nothing better so do. I?ve waited 4 hours now and seems like no one give a s*** that I haven?t had anything to eat or drink. If I knew getting access to my account would take this long I would have brought breakfast lunch and dinner. They said tell us the truth about the transactions, I should have lied. Closing my account. No issue with the brach staff just the HR AND so called Fraud department.

I can see 6 people working today and 2 just start and chatting at the door with security garden. 1 machine is not working and there is queue. Some of the stuff are amazing but other are really rude and make you feel its their bank. They close when they want and open when they want even though it says open. I honestly don't know how it's allowed to be like this

Slow poor service have been trying to get name added to a business account for months so simple but they could not cope / kept getting lost on there own paperwork/ losing documents.

Visited this morning, before rushing to work. (13/10/2023 9:30). Very bad service. The cashier refused to deposit cash in, even when a machine was out of service, only one machine was working and was long queue there. Two customer service people tried to force me to go to the machine, even when I refused. The Indian looking customer service lady accused me loudly not following her order to go to the machine. Since when bank staff become the boss? Customers have right to choose the way they bank. Hope Halifax barking branch can teach their staff how to provide better services.

Was very disappointed as I was in a queue waiting and one person at customer service chatting on her mobile rather than putting customers first, very unprofessional need better employers with skills and manners

Always find a way to make a deal out of everything. As it?s the nearest bank to me u usually have to withdraw money 2 to 3 times a week n sometimes i do t have id. Been visiting regularly n they still ask for id as if I?m a different person every time. It?s acc embarrassing this barking branch of Halifax. Customer service ain?t even a thing they know off

Low Class behaviour. I went in the bank to cash in some money and unfortunately before entering the bank I've kindly asked the girl on the doors if I could have a mask to enter as I didn't have one. She gave me one but said "WE ARE NOT THE CHARITY HERE". Not kind of answer I expect from the bank who uses my money and I hate leaving bad reviews.
