Visited this morning, before rushing to work. (13/10/2023 9:30). Very bad service. The cashier refused to deposit cash in, even when a machine was out of service, only one machine was working and was long queue there. Two customer service people tried to force me to go to the machine, even when I refused. The Indian looking customer service lady accused me loudly not following her order to go to the machine. Since when bank staff become the boss? Customers have right to choose the way they bank. Hope Halifax barking branch can teach their staff how to provide better services.

Was very disappointed as I was in a queue waiting and one person at customer service chatting on her mobile rather than putting customers first, very unprofessional need better employers with skills and manners

Always find a way to make a deal out of everything. As it?s the nearest bank to me u usually have to withdraw money 2 to 3 times a week n sometimes i do t have id. Been visiting regularly n they still ask for id as if I?m a different person every time. It?s acc embarrassing this barking branch of Halifax. Customer service ain?t even a thing they know off

Low Class behaviour. I went in the bank to cash in some money and unfortunately before entering the bank I've kindly asked the girl on the doors if I could have a mask to enter as I didn't have one. She gave me one but said "WE ARE NOT THE CHARITY HERE". Not kind of answer I expect from the bank who uses my money and I hate leaving bad reviews.

if i had the chance i would've given a 0 star, my online bank app crashed and so i called Halifax and i was told to go to the bank with proof of ID i went however the people there were really rude and unprofessional as they didn't even help me especially the spiderlash lady, she what so ever and blocked me sending money over. Because of her rude attitude id rather go to another bank. This bank is really bad and this is not the first time, the last time i went there i had a cheque written my surname first and my first name last the cashier at the counter couldn't take my cheque in because my name was the wrong way round, then having a word with my husband and advised me to go to a different bank which was ilford then took my cheque within seconds i would not recommend anyone going there as it is a waste a time, if you do end of going here i would recommend staying away from her.

last week i had to visit this barking branch halifax i was not pleased with this spiderlash women in the cashier she was full of attitude i have never came across such a rude lady in my life, i have other banks i also deal with but never experienced this once. if i had the chance i wouldn't give you star people like this give bad reputation to the bank.

When I asked em to "stick em up!" spiderlashes had the audacity to tell me bank blags weren't accepted in a digital society. I told her that she should be arrested for carrying two eyelids of mass distruction, I think I had the last laugh there despite me getting sent daan for da shoota....
