You have a long queue of people waiting to pay with cash, with card only checkouts left empty. It's just clearly not a good idea to make the self service card only, place need to stop doing this. Also the kiosks are always left attended by only 1 person even when queues are long. Prices in this shop are also too high, you may as well be shopping at Waitrose.. They also have the tendancy to close the shop when it should be in opening hours. It's a shame for the staff because some of them are friendly but the shop is clearly managed very poorly.
They've also put locks on all the alcohol fridges due to shoplifting, which is a shame because I used to occasionally buy a drink but now I just don't bother because it's too much hassle.

This co op's shelves are always empty and if you're expecting a friendly customer service you're at the wrong place I was queuing behind a lady that only was getting a chocolate bar and the hijabi lady scanned it and literally threw it on the counter for the customer in a rude way and then came my turn and I was polite to her but she done same thing to me also lol she threw my sandwich on the counter instead of placing gently infront of me... how are these people employed and others are struggling to find a job....
Wouldn't recommend this co op at any time unless it's the only shop left on earth

I ordered online but from 7 items they couldn't find 3 which ruined most of the order it was one of the reason I ordered online
How can a shop doesn't have still water is the most basic, they didn't offer to replace it with a different brand ,I'm sure they would have found some still water in that shop but they didn't want to do the job
And when I checked again they still advertise the products that they couldn't find for my order
I was attracted to their small fee but never again

I am a frequent customer and 2 times that I have bought cherries for £4 they were a couple that were rotten. What a shame. I will not buy cherries from there.

I'm writing to express my frustration with the experience we had today, October 27th. We ordered through Just Eat, only to receive chicken with a use-by date of October 26th. This is absolutely unacceptable ? it's shocking and disgusting that you would send out food that has already expired.
Also instead 8x can they sent one bottle, can't believe how they work.
Furthermore , I tried reaching out immediately, but no one is answering the calls. This is not only a health risk but also a clear failure in customer service.

I went to buy Gordon?s gin and tobacco but when I came to billing I have taped my card but what?s wrong don?t know it was declined on that time I requested to her please give me aa moment to check my PIN number to insert the card on that time she is telling if you don?t have money y you came to store and buying these item she telling this is the way she is treating customer (Muslim girl ) these is not correct way to treat the customer?..Time was (2 PM )Date (12-10-2024) seeking for action please is my kind information please

Make sure to double check once they've scanned items. Better yet, use self-service as the staff seem incompetent. I was charged double the price for 1 pack of doughnuts and only spotted this when looking at my credit card statement.

Past 6 years I?ve lived in barking the co op never has correct deals. All the time items are always sold out. They do a pizza deal 2 pizza & ice cream for £5 but guess what you can?t actually get the deal because all specific items are always missing. You ask the staff and they say you need to wait for delivery. Hopefully someone can sort this out.

Don't order from them, they almost always get the order wrong or don't have the items listed on their catalog, then don't let you cancel.

The company seems to do nothing about the shoplifters who treat the shop as a free for all, marching out with armfuls of drink while the staff do nothing. Apart from that, the freezer regularly breaks down and I have had to tell the manager to buy one member of staff a can of deodorant.
