avoid this store like the plague. Terrible customer service.Before going to the store, I already knew the Studio Pro was meant to sell between £80-£117.Staff member who served me had one look at the item I was selling and asked for £47 sell without even asking for what type of headphones it was. It wasn?t a Studio 3, but instead a Beats Pro Studio.Very poor service on knowledge from staff.

Took a replacement iPad i received from apple to cex to sell agreed on a price woman over the counter tells me it needs to be tested so i say can you not just test it now while Im here as it brand new still in plastic wrapping so goes no it needs to be booked in. so i leave it with them get a call 20 mins later saying there is a issue with microphone i go back i cant see any issue with microphone so i just take it back sent it into another company online had the money in my account the day they received. I take from the reviews this is not the first time this has happened to someone seems to be a regular things. wont be going back in a hurry.

I went to this branch to sell an item that's brand new sealed unwanted gift was told to come back after 1hr I said okey when returned was told item failed test could not belive it I laughed went to another cex not too far from me it passed all the test either the person who tested it lied due to having lot of work load or he is very unexperienced and hasn't got a clue

Very poor service, staff have no information of what they are selling and the range of games very little. It is not only that they do not have much information but customer service is very average compared to their other branches!

Went in today to sell my Hp laptop. The lady took about 10/15mins to check it over, which is fine. She then said I could possibly get £50-70, but asked me to go and come back in 20mins for the confirmation from her head office or something.When I got back after 20mins she said they cannot accept the laptop because the serial number on the bottom of the laptop and the serial number showing in the laptop specifications were different. I asked why, she couldn?t give an answer, and asked me where I got it from which was Curry?s. I asked her if the laptop could be a fake, she said no and suggested I sell it at cash converters.I am not a tech person so when I got home I googled how to check the serial numbers, and the numbers were in fact the same. So not sure why the lady lied to me. They could have just said the laptop wasn?t suitable for them to buy, but lying about it is a bit strange.So I say all of this because when you?re taking something in to sell, and they tell you why they can?t take it, please ask them to show you exactly what they mean.Not going back there to buy or sell anything again. Even if it was a genuine mistake, it made them a bit shady, and I don?t trust people like that. Just be careful and make sure you ask for proof of what they are saying!

If I could give 0 stars I would! After getting a haircut in barking I said to myself let me go to cex to sell my Cronus Zen. I showed it to the lady at the till she said they don't take Zens! when I knew that they did so I asked the guy that was behind her you do take zens right? and he replied yes we do. After they established that it could be brought! They said testing will take an hour I came back they said it was bugged and glitched here's my issue now I tested it myself before going to sell it and it was not bugged or glitched I reset it and cleared the data clean and no issues became of it. So whatever they did behind the scenes is that they clearly damaged it and use me as an excuse of why they couldn't buy it off me total idiots. Funny enough I sold it to another cex branch and they paid me saying no issues here and I laughed out loud thinking typical!!! never going back to cex barking keep doing what ur doing eventually ppl will clock on to your foolishness. Did u ? really think you could play me like this thinking I wouldn't know what you did laughable.

Look great retro games clear on sheet. But -1 for carefully please you look fake sticker on PAL. This not PAL from NTSC (USA). This not work in PS2 for PAL (UK)

No idea of the name of the person who served me but he had no charisma whatsoever.Maybe he was having a bad day.Then again none of the staff seemed that happy. Theycouldn't find one of the things I wanted, not unusual for a CEX store.

Worst customer service ever.I went to sell my I Mac, the lady was vaping in front of us with zero respect, (no vaping should allow inside the store)miscommunication on the price, should give us a clear vision on the process, the management should give training on the staff about the training and productworst experience everwill never come back at this store.

WOULD STRONGLY NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!Bought in a pristine IPhone se2 to them, to a guy named BOGTAN, working at that facility. I have pictures of how it was before. He damages the sim card tray and even takes off the original apple stickers on the device and damages the sim card tray, then tells me that he will give me £40 less than I was supposed to get originally.STAFF WERE REALLY UNHELPFUL and didn't even provide insight on how to go fix this.

Went here last week to buy a game I?d been looking for. The all staff was very friendly, especially the manager. She helped me at every point during the purchase. Going as far as recommending some great titles I hadn?t tried yet. Walked out with 5 games ?, but very happy with all of them. Thank you very much everyone. 100% See you all soon
