On Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, I visited the store in the afternoon to purchase toiletries, spending around 45 minutes shopping.
Upon exiting after paying for my items, I was confronted by the manager?a Black male?and three colleagues who unjustly accused me of shoplifting, assuming I had concealed one of their products in my bag. This misunderstanding left me feeling disrespected and humiliated in front of customers in the store, and I received no apology from any of the employees involved.
I will not be returning to this store, as it is clear that I am not valued as a customer. This experience is entirely unacceptable.
I strongly advise against visiting this particular store, especially if you?re a Black male dressed in heavy or tracksuit clothing. The lack of professionalism and inadequate customer service, combined with a shortage of knowledgeable staff on the floor, only compounds the issue. Save yourself the trouble and look at a different B&M store
