It's Sainsbury's, but it's my local. 90% of the time I get everything I need and appreciate the wine / whiskey buyer for the store, always a good selection and quality. Recently had a few ups and downs in terms of stock and availability of produce, but generally it's a well looked after store.

Blocking customers from leaving the store unless they present a receipt is not acceptable. You have no right to restrain peoples freedom of access in a public place.Next time the barriers will be forced.

Sainsbury's Balham, there is no correct flow to the shop layout, probably a ruse to get you to spend more ?Still got what I needed, paid for it and could not get out of the barrier with my my receipt, luckily, another customer came to my rescue

A modern miracle. Sometimes I stroll in awe through its air conditioned aisles marvellinng at the intricacy of the supply chain that brings such a myriad of delicacies from all the corners of the Earth at such affordable prices. I say a prayer for any lost soul rating this places less than 5 stars as they are obviously spiritually bankrupt and blind to the beauty of life.

Not only are Sainsbury donors to the Tory party, this store has a ludicrous barrier system preventing customers from leaving the store without scanning a receipt. This after filming them checking out their own groceries. Basically they treat all customers as potential shoplifters.

Went to get bed sheets from the Argos inside Sainsbury's. I searched on the tablet for what I wanted which was annoying as the ones that said they were available in-store were available but not in the size I wanted (king-size). Luckily as I had walked in I saw some on the shelf. Upon further inspection they were reduced and I ended up buying a single and a kingsize jersey material, really soft duvet covers. Happy I went, I would say if you are only going to Argos check online first or you may not get what you want.

It is particularly loathsome that the store wants shoppers to scan their receipt in order to leave the store. Their reasoning for this is to curb shoplifting. Presumably this is shoplifting by people who can't afford their hyper-inflated prices owing to cost of living crises. The same hyper-inflated prices that have led to record profits for Sainsbury's whilst many are suffering real time food poverty and more.Nice move Sainsbury's. Avoid and don't give this bog standard supermarket chain your custom. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

The shop is too small, it doesn't have a Tu and the car park is really small. Grocery wise its good and it's more of a corner shop vibe.

Im sick and tired of having to wait for your staff to finish gossiping. I used to do this job for 7 years, please train them and teach them to treat customers right. There is one lad always running around the self check out to cover all the girls while they talk, give him a raise while you?re there. So annoying. I?ll just go to Tesco up in Clapham South now
