Well now, how lucky are you to gain a thorough education about various wines ?Lily has amazing knowledge concerning each part of how long wines are aged, softness on the palette, how the much fruit, tanning, chocolate in the Merlot. I?ve been to many Majestic stores, but this branch in particular the service and staff are extremely helpful. and I will come back every time for drinks for parties and birthdays. Highly recommended.

They are all so busy preparing their online orders that no one has welcomed me or asked if I need help. This young guy behind the counter was annoyed at me that I didn?t take a basket and was very rude to me saying I will disturb other customers (meanwhile the shop is empty and one guy is paying ready to leave) I think they should be glad people coming to their store rather than ordering online, that evening I didn?t go all the way to my usual much more fun and less serious wine shop on Abbeville road because of road traffic but for sure I would not do twice the same mistake. The guy nor anyone else offered to carry the box to my car which they always do.

Prices have gone through the roof. It was cheaper to have a bottle in a restaurant in Sloane Square last week than it was to buy at Majestic which was 30 GBP more expensive. Bottle Apostle seems better value as do online retailers - 50 GBP cheaper.

Amazing, friendly, attentive customer service. When I came in, two people were helping get one customer?s order rung up and packed. It was not a long wait.
Then they helped the lady in front of me because she couldn?t quite reach the cases of beer she wanted.
Then someone walked up to help me. I showed them a wine I wanted and they let me know they didn?t carry it, but showed me other wines they had of the same grape. They shared which was their favorite and why.
I decided to give it a try. They rung me up, honored a discount code and gave me a lovely carrier bag!
I haven?t even tried the wine yet but it is a good year and my favorite grape so I?m expecting good things.
It was just so nice to be treated so kindly! Thank you!
Edit: This store is not in my neighborhood I was visiting a friend but the service was so amazing I?ll definitely stop back in anytime I?m in the neighborhood! If you do wine tastings or events please do let me know.
Update: The Dr. Loosen 2021 Riesling was fantastic! I?ll be ordering more.

I wanted to share how helpful and supportive Peter was when I visited majestic yesterday. I was definitely punching above my weight arranging a party for 140 people with no idea as to what they might consume and how much I needed to buy. Peter helped me every step of the way in terms of beer, wine and Prosecco needs, glass hire, chillers, ice and delivery. I left the store feeling greatly relieved and with a plan and delivery structure ahead. We need more fellows like Peter in our lives!

Ample parking!! The tall lady instore store was hugely knowledgeable and helped me pick the wine for our party (the house label Definition Pouilly Fuissé is very good value and tastes great). They answer the phone (many stores do not) and even helped me carry 90 bottles to my car. A great service and range.

Staff were rude and not at all helpful. It's a shame as we were looking forward to trying products that would suit us, but no effort was made to accommodate us.
