I recently ordered a kitchen from Wickes and while some team members were helpful, the overall experience was disappointing.
I paid a deposit in early May and was verbally assured the kitchen would be delivered on 14th May, with the balance due via finance. I was told not to book delivery through the link provided, but I never received written confirmation. There was also an error with my address, which nearly delayed delivery?thankfully a staff member stepped in and resolved it just in time.
Once work began, it became clear the kitchen had been measured incorrectly. Wickes responded quickly and re-ordered the necessary parts, but this caused a two-week delay. My builder had to stop work, and I incurred extra costs due to rescheduling tradespeople and lost time.
To make matters worse, the wine rack frame was missing from the delivery. Despite a replacement being ordered, it?s now been over three weeks with no update. I?ve spent hours on hold trying to get through to customer service.
While I appreciate the support I received from certain staff, the poor communication and delays caused significant stress and expense. I believe a 25% refund would be a fair gesture for the disruption caused.

EXCELLENT ! Staff were helpful, knowledgeable & highly efficient ... Mostly, mine was 'click & collect' .. that was straightforward .. but I needed advice on other items ! Good experience shopping there !!

Came here a few weeks ago and the staff - both Charlie and Val - were unbelievably helpful! Honestly made me feel like I wasn't in London ahaha would highly recommend this store if you know you're going to need some help with the products as they are both very knowledgeable! Thanks again!

The staff at the Anerley branch are very helpful and polite. In particular, both Afram and Dan who went out of their way to help out. The branch itself is always well stocked and organised.

Really human and accommodating staff, let me borrow a trolley to carry some doors down the road,much appreciated. Lacking 1 star because I find the layout of the store hard to find what you want.

Easily the worst choice for your kitchen in every way. Disorganised , over priced , unresponsive, incompetent , rude . Will take much longer and cost much more than they put in writing, make errors in design, deliver wrong products in wrong places - with no recourse. Don?t bother complaining either - attitude is appalling when customers are spending tens of thousands of pounds. Go anywhere else - you won?t regret it avoiding Wickes.

Awful customer service from the duty manager Charlie.
The guy shouldn't be in a customer-facing role with an attitude like that! Not helpful at all and looked pissed off that he was dragged out of this office to sort out the issue.
Won't be using Wicks ever again!
I'll be calling customer services about the way I was treated today.
Ronseal garage paint (Slate) bought 2 tins from Wicks. Totally different colours when applied. Refused a refund even though I had the receipts.
